Call ahead of time or expect to wait. The store was really neat and was a great distraction. We were originally given a 40 minute wait, but it was only 20. The food was okay. We started with the cinnamon rolls, which were very yummy, but be ready for a sugar rush. We ordered the two steak and shrimp dinners. One was supposed to be with creole sauce and grilled shrimp, the other a garlic butter sauce with fried shrmp. Both steaks were improperly cooked. The waiter never came and asked if everything was okay and we were hungry.. Neither steak had any flavor, A1 sauce was asked for. I did however like my steak fried and we both enjoyed the shrimp. We received the bill before we even finished our entrees. So we didn’t order desert, which we had planned on ♀️. The price was not worth what we received.

This location in Lakeland is one of the BEST Cracker Barrel locations. The decor is updated + really interesting; while still keeping the historical feel of the wall hangings. I ❤️❤️❤️ the real fireplace that has aroma + is visually calming. The staff were all very friendly + efficient. Our food was cooked to perfection + delicious. I love that they give 2 bottles of warm REAL maple syrup with pancake orders. Many places charge extra for it.
We can’t wait to go back.

My family and I love Cracker Barrel. The quality is there and it’s priced just right, but this visit was off. We started off with two decaf coffees and they were cold. Isn’t that annoying? (Don’t judge me. After 24 yrs of drinking coffee, I suddenly can’t handle caffeine after my 3rd round of covid.) We got a fresh pot, no big deal. The food took forever and then we felt a bit rushed. I tried biscuits and gravy for the very first time in my life. I expected more flavor from the gravy IMHO. I also had bacon, sausage, eggs and pancakes. It was all delicious and worth the wait. Nothing else is pictured because I was HANGRY.

It was our 1st time eating here and our experience was good. Very friendly and nice waitress. We had (breakfast) the Sausage and egg with hashbrown bowl and Bacon and egg with hashbrown bowl. It was very good. We were very impressed about the coffee, it was very good we got refills .
They don’t have almond milk or oat milk .
And no Omelett either.
Decor and ambience is very pleasant .
The cashier ladies are lovely .
The items prices from store, are very good too
Don’t forget to ask for the reward subscription, it’s free ❤️
Ah almost forgot the biscuits are sooo good with butter and jam

Had an amazing dinner here. The remodel is great and the gift shop has a lot more atmosphere. Bring back the old timer for the i4 sign and its perfect. The new interior is much more vibrant, and bright. The food has the same great taste. After my family’s dinner I had to take a photo of how nice the resturant looks! Good job, Cracker Barrel!

Mimi was outstanding.
She made great suggestions that we were happy with.
The $6 to-Go meal was perfect for an after dinner snack at the hotel or even lunch the next day.
The gift shop is always fun.
Restrooms were super clean.
There was some banging down to the renovations but they weren’t bad.

My husband and I truly enjoy the food, sweet staff and such a cozy and humble establishment. We eat breakfast there every 2 weekend. And let me not talk about the store there

Had to wait several minutes until waitress came out again to ask for my bill—after she already provided takeout box and bag. Complained about the pathetic, thin looking biscuits—as you see in pic are barely thicker than a jelly packet. Was told they always looked this way. I said I have eaten at this chain across several states and that is not the norm. You are a home style, country cooking type place—no good Southern cook would EVER think these were ok to serve.

I do not like the renovation. The new look does not make it feel like a Cracker Barrel at all. The whole essence of Cracker Barrel is the country style shopping. We have always placed our order thing gone to the store to look around. I understand that you want to make it more spacious, but in the process you took away 45% of the products that you were selling. The decor in the restrooms is not the classic Cracker Barrel look. We will not be returning to this location.
