My family recently travelled to Pittsburgh to visit me. On Sunday, March 8th, based on my recommendation, we visited this location for lunch before their departure. I have never been so embarrassed. The amount of time we sat waiting was a little inconvenient, considering that we placed a pickup order close to 20 minutes prior to our arrival. Once we finally returned to my house and opened our boxes, my mother received the smallest, most embarrassing, fish tacos that I’ve ever seen in my life. I’d say it was laughable, but I was too upset to chuckle. If this is the standard of how the fish tacos are served, they can be taken off the menu. I have never had my judgment questioned like it was today, and that’s not something I appreciate.
I usually like this place, but now I’m wondering if I’ll ever come back based on today’s experience.

Went with a friend for lunch and I got the chorizo burrito ($10.99). Service was really fast for the food coming out, and the burrito was good too.
Place has got a whole vibe going on inside and I can tell this is one of the “hip” spots in the neighborhood.

We love this little restaurant and have been getting takeout from here nearly every Saturday for the past couple of years. The shrimp tacos and flying saucer are recommended, as is the chili relleno burrito. Definitely get the chips and salsa.

I got a California burrito and my friend got chilaquiles and they were pretty good. We dropped our take out bag, thats why the chiaquiles look like that. They also have micheladas on the menu, which is not something I see often in the United States.

A nice place to get some food and drink. We went for a Paws Across Pittsburgh event as they were supporting them by getting donations. A donation got you a drink ticket. They had a DJ, tequila tastings, and a raffle basket too. The margarita was delicious and so were the nachos. My husband got the burrito and it definitely could have been spiced more but I understand why it’s not.

My first time trying this place. I ordered a California burrito it was just ok. I had an official California burrito and this just didn’t taste like one. Lacking flavor nothing about it screamed Mexican. Highly disappointed because of the high reviews on the burrito is which why I chose this place. I wouldn’t buy it again that’s for sure.

I ordered a takeout dinner for my family. I paid for it and drove to pick it up about 20 minutes later. When I arrived I found that a customer before me had taken my order and was rude. Then I was in the restaurant with no food. The server was dismissive and unapologetic, said I had to wait another 20 minutes. I said I understood why the previous customer was rude and demanded a refund. The server filmed me while I was complaining.

I’ve been here before and it was so good but this time was disappointing. I ordered chips and salsa with the mahi mahi tacos and asked what was on the tacos. The girl told me a list of ingredients including at least cheese, cabbage, cilantro, onion, sour cream, salsa. I asked for no onions or sauce and I ended up getting tacos with just a small piece of fish and a handful of cabbage. I asked about the other ingredients like the cilantro and cheese and she gave me some cheese but never any cilantro. It wasn’t very filling for $20 (tacos were $13) I was the only person there and it just felt like no one working wanted bothered.
