Our McCordsville location opened in 2008, and was later purchased in April of 2019 by current owners Jon Grunden and Sean Booher. Jon and Sean have over 25 years of experience between them, and have worked together for the last seven. We are now located off of Oaklandon Rd. as Chicago’s Pizza Geist. Jon, Sean and their wonderful restaurant staff have done a tremendous job of taking this location back to the basics. Their mission and focus is to make quality pizzas and to ensure their customers’ happiness.

The restaurant was preparing for the next shift when I arrived but took my to go order and quickly prepared it with no problem. I ordered pepperoni bread sticks and a 7″ personal pan pizza. I was expecting rolls of pepperoni in the bread rolls but it was more like minced meat. They were still very good and filling enough to save my pizza for the next day. The reheated pizza was good too.

Limited seating. I dined at the buffet around noon. There were lots of kids though so maybe they’re out of school. I saw some people walk right back out because there weren’t any empty tables. Pizza choices didn’t seem to be too varied. There were like 3 cheese pizzas on the buffet at once. Or the toppings were so sparse, I thought they were cheese. I noticed that many patrons ordered pizza off the menu instead of the buffet. Maybe that’s a better option. Salad bar was nice. Good nacho cheese for the breadsticks. Clean place and the workers were very kind. Overall decent for $12 (unlimited pizza, salad, drinks).
Edit to respond to owner: May I suggest you put signs up to label the pizzas? I had never eaten there and didn’t realize the toppings were under the cheese. I grabbed a slice of one pie and only took one bite because it had bacon. I don’t like bacon on pizza. I wouldn’t want to stand there asking the employees to identify every single pizza for me when you can simply label them.

Just a late lunch , the garlic cheese bread was perfect, crispy and full of cheese. The pizza was hot and fresh , made with care. Yum !

We ordered Cheese, Sausage, Mushroom, onion pizza. They said on 15 to 20 minutes before pick up. It was not good. It didn’t seem like it was made fresh and you really couldn’t distinguish what vegetables were what because they were diced so small. I called to let them know. They offered a credit but really not interested in ordering from them again.

This place is great. For $10 you can walk in get 3 slices of pizza from the buffet, 3 bread sticks with sauce and a drink. No waiting. Food was good and their cheese sauce is amazing!

I like this place. The pizza is good, as is the buffet salad bar. At $12 for the lunch buffet, it is among the best values in the area for what you get and the food is good. My only complaint is the lack of seating but they can’t really do anything about that. The place is always busy at lunch time which says a lot.

We began with Breadsticks as an appetizer.Then we ordered a Deep-Dish with Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and half with Green Peppers.
The pie was excellent and the breadsticks…well…delicious!
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
I’m a big fan of Jockamo Pizza. However, I think I found my new “Go-To” pizzeria!
