The Waffle House nowadays suck! I go in and wait 20 minutes for my order to be taken, the cook in the back sleep, and the store is filthy. I make my order, the lady dont write down the correct order, and the cook gets an attitude. I wanted hasbrowns, not crispy potato chips. Y’all need to shut this one down with the rest of the Waffle House’s in the Jackson/Clinton area.

Although the food is delicious and a bargain, the environment is below professional during the weekends. Came in today to see the staff using profanity, allowing a guest to smoke, and barely tending to any of the paying customers. The service is prestigious during the week days so this is quite a shock.

Walked in around 11:pm and seen water on the floor and kitchen along with dirty tables with food left from previous guest, the back counter where the cooks cook food had cooking ware with dried up food on the along with skillets and stuff, bottom line is i different feel like this would be a good spot to eat considering i seen no employees around while i stood outside writing this review, just looked nasty in their, no 1 is around to clean off the tables, mop the floor or clean the cooking station…15min standing here outside the window and haven’t seen any workers yet…I pass on this 1

..this last time I went they put steak on one side and bacon on the other…of the sandwich…when the entire sandwich should have been steak and the bacon laying on top…they put the right amount of steak on one side and forgot the bacon so I had a few pieces of steak on the other side….

As of today 11/26/25, I will no longer be eating at this Waffle House. I found a fingernail in my food the size of a Toenail. This was a very disturbing night for me. I’m utterly disgusted! This rubbed me the wrong way tonight, totally unacceptable.
