Hands down the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Philly (& tied for the best in the country)… and I’ve eaten a lottt. The seeded roll is the perfect taste & texture , the meat is high quality & well portioned , the cooper sharp cheese is top tier – a generous amount but not overwhelming & the onions are cut and cooked exactly right .
Every time I’m in the area I come here, and I’m never disappointed. The restaurant is clean . The people are very nice . Orders are made quickly. Prices are fair, especially for the portion . Drink selection is varied . Literally no complaints or negatives that I can think of.
If you’re like me and not from Philly, ignore most of the “famous spots” or tourist traps (you know which ones I’m talking about …) & come here!!

Best cheesesteaks and hoagies in West Chester/Chester County. Seeded rolls on any steak/hoagie and the Old School Italian are to die for. They also serve pizza now (slices, 12” personal, 16” large standard, and 2 slices any choice and a drink for only $10)! Lorenzo’s should be your lunchtime destination if you’re anywhere near West Chester, PA. I made it mine recently on a trip through town, just to try their popular and highly-rated Town Talk steak hoagie on a lightly toasted and seeded Corropolese roll…delicious. It’s rated the best cheesesteak in Chester County and it’s easy to see why. It didn’t disappoint. The steak was served piping hot with the perfect ratio of melted Cooper Sharp and onions. The staff is professional, very friendly and went above and beyond. The shop is clean and comfortable should you choose to dine in. Give them a shot!

Happened to be nearby for work so stopped in to try after hearing about this place online. There’s a severe lack of good hoagies in Baltimore so I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while. Well worth the visit! Great service, and even better hoagies!! The old school Italian held up really well after a 2 hour drive.

The “old school Italian” is the best Italian hoagie I’ve ever had. Hands down. The wiz wit and american wit were great. Service was quick and the ambiance was what I would expect. I definitely recommend if you like Italian hoagies.

We stopped in during our lunch hour. I had two pieces of pizza that were absolutely top notch. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We also got to watch a video on the tv showing them prepare the different types of food. I only wish I had more time to go back. If I ever return to the area, this spot is a definite.

We drove3 hours to try this spot, worth every minute and mile of travel. We tried 3 different hoagies and a cheesesteak, definitely in the top 3 best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten hoagies and cheesesteaks up and down the east coast. Both of the Antonio’s were great guys, and we can’t say enough how nice and gracious Anna was . You guys rock!!! We will be back to visit you guys and the awesome west Chester community. The Corropolese rolls are top tier, second to none . Go Birds!!!!

My friend and I came here around 35 minutes before closing (we ran behind schedule) and even though we could tell the staff was cleaning up for the night, they were super friendly throughout the whole thing; and we didn’t feel like we were bothering them by being there (which most places will make you feel like that near closing). we ordered two cheesesteaks and as we were waiting, they gave my friend and I two slices of pizza each, which was really nice of them. Amazing service all around and it felt welcoming. I got a coopersharp cheesesteak on a seeded roll, and it was an amazing steak. i’ve tried a good amount of the top cheesesteak places in and around philly, and in my opinion, Lorenzo’s is definitely in my top 3. the bread to meat ratio was perfect. perfect amount of cheese, and great quality steak. Both my friend and I said that we’ll both be back here for sure!

If you are looking for a LEGIT Philly cheesesteak, this is IT. No BS, high quality seasoned meat and plenty of it. I would highly recommend the seeded roll with the fried onions and Coopers sharp American. Doesn’t get any better than that. Portions are generous, flavor is amazing. Staff is super nice. Skip the tourist spots, Lorenzos is where you want to be.
