Always one of my fav breweries to visit when I’m in the area! I started by getting a flight and trying a few different beers. Really like the sour a lot. I got an IPA pour and we split a Hawian Pizza. Not your traditional Hawian, would recommend great flavor, fresh and creative. It’s a fun, upbeat vibe in here. They have tables as well as bar seating.

We ordered the CBR Sandwich and the KBC Grinder. Both were insanely delicious. The pork belly on the CBR was very tender and juicy! The tallow fries were also great! One of the best food spots I’ve experience around here and I also grabbed some of their American Amber Ale which is delicious! Kind of an odd spot and layout inside but the decor is the classic micro-brewery vibe. Awesome spot! Will be coming back way more often!

This is a great spot to grab a pint and maybe a bite to eat! I came here on a Wednesday for lunch and they were comfortably busy. My wife got the Henhouse Hustler chicken sandwich and I ordered a Honky Tonk Battle Royale pizza. Both were great!! Lots of flavor and massive servings. We both ended up with boxes to go. I also really enjoyed trying a few different of their drafts. You can order small flights, half, and full pours. We’ll be back to try more!

A Tale of Two Halves: The Shrimp Po’ Boy at Kettlehead
Kettlehead Brewing has long been a reliable anchor in the Tilton craft scene, and their kitchen usually operates with the same precision as their brewhouse. On a recent visit, I set my sights on the Shrimp Po’ Boy, a sandwich that demands a delicate harmony between decadence and structure.
The Star of the Show: The Shrimp
The shrimp themselves were, in a word, exemplary. Often, brewery kitchens lean too heavily on a thick, leaden batter, but these were expertly prepared. The crust was light and shattered with a satisfying crunch, yielding to tender, sweet shrimp that tasted remarkably fresh for being so far from the Gulf. They were seasoned with just enough kick to let you know they were there, and the accompanying remoulade added a bright, creamy acidity that tied the proteins together beautifully.
The Downfall: The Vessel
Unfortunately, the experience was hampered by the bread. In the world of Po’ Boys, the bread is meant to be the “shroud”—crisp on the outside but airy and soft enough to compress when bitten. The roll served here, however, lacked that essential soul. It felt uninspired and somewhat dense, lacking the structural integrity to support the generous portion of shrimp without becoming a distraction. Rather than elevating the sandwich, it felt like an afterthought that muted the brilliance of the filling.
The Verdict
If you’re coming for the flavors, Kettlehead is hitting the mark—the shrimp are arguably some of the best fried seafood in the area. But if you’re a purist who believes the sandwich is only as good as the crumb of its crust, the bread may leave you wanting more. It’s a “good” meal that stops just short of being “great” solely due to the bakery choice.
Pair it with one of their flagship IPAs, and you’ll still leave happy—just keep your expectations for the roll in check.

My wife and I try to hit up as many breweries as possible when traveling through an area. Kettlehead had a cool vibe to it, and a good selection of brews. All of the beers I tried were good. Dreamstate was my favorite of the ones I tried. We did not eat anything, so I don’t have any feedback on the food.

Everyone was friendly, and the food was PHENOMENAL! Fun twists on classic pub food. We had crab rangoon mozzarella sticks, ramen fries, and even their street corn ceasar salad was delicious. And the beer was great, too!

This place was cool! The beer is excellent!! I ordered the cider and it was so good I ordered another one, which I’ve never done before. My husband thoroughly enjoyed Kettlehead’s homebrewed wheat beer.

We ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer. Then followed it up with pulled pork sandwich with onion rings, smash burger (triple) and the woodside chicken nachos. Conversation was scarce as we were all focused on our meals. Food was tasty and plentiful.

Our server was awesome! Took the time time to explain the beers to us and made recommendations for the beer flight. Very courteous and responsive to our requests.

Not gonna lie, we weren’t sure what we were getting into. Would this place welcome diversity? Would the food suck if the beer is good? Took a chance and so grateful we did.

Great spot! They also have a beer of the month type of program for locals, $150 buy-in. (If they shipped to Illinois we would have joined.)

We plan on returning whenever we are in the area.

Great Beer, good food, Outstanding Service. Great Vibe. Everyone is very friendly. Outstanding Waitress, Devon, big smile. Made suggestions, frequently checked in on us and brought food and beer quickly, but didn’t appear so much to be interrupting.

IPAs were delicious, and so was the Pizza . We got the small cup pepperoni with hot honey.

I would go back just for the Pizza.
I would return just for the beer.

Very cool place – beer, food, and service were all great. Portions are large – we ended up just sharing appetizers and that was enough. Great varieties of beers on tap, really something for everyone. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time. One of the best breweries in NH for sure.
