One of the best spots for breakfast and lunch around Hickory! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I definitely recommend calling in your order, because the line can get long at times. Well worth the wait even if you don’t! Staff is always super friendly.

I went close to closing time so maybe that’s why I received the worst burger of my life. I thought at first what did I order a loose meat burger because it was like chili. There were also a ton of onions. So then I was thinking maybe it’s an onion burger. I lifted the bun and it was a mush patty like it had been boiled. I decided to check out pictures from google to see if this is their “thing” and I see normal looking burgers. So I guess I must have gotten we were already ready to close burger. I threw it out after a few bites. I wish I had taken a picture because it was bizarre what I was served. I wish the would have just said sorry we are done serving today.

The sliced BBQ sandwich had the sauce on it. Too sweet .need to leave it off. The cheeseburger was good except the meat wasn’t fresh it was frozen patties.

If you are a visitor in Hickory, this MUST be a place that you eat from at least once. The Cajun Burger is easily one of the top 3 burgers I’ve ever had (I dare to actually say the best). Service is great! And the man at the front window is honest about wait times. If it’ll be a minute he’ll let you know. To put a cherry on top, the food doesn’t even cost much.
