As for the food:Pizzas: Both were bland and lacked flavor. The double pepperoni pizza tasted flat, with no real flavor in the sauce, cheese, or crust. The veggie pizza with garlic sauce was the same—the crust and sauce had no seasoning, and it felt like just bread, cheese, and vegetables. Very disappointing for the price.
Breadsticks: These were seasoned heavily, maybe a bit too much, but still soft and enjoyable with the garlic and cheese sauces. Pizza cookie: This was the highlight—warm, soft, and very good. Overall, for the price I paid, the quality and flavor of the pizzas were not worth it. The breadsticks and cookie were decent, but forgetting half the order at pickup and the lack of flavor in the main dishes left me very disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from The Urban Oven again.
Unfortunately the breadsticks are absolute trash. Come from a box and are pretty low on the quality scale. They try to dress it up with some herbs/parm, but it isn’t working. I highly suggest they move to making their own. It’s EASY and tastes way better.
FYI their menu on Google isn’t accurate and I think it from the previous pizza place. They need to update. Also their website link is inaccurate currently and links to a Los Angeles – based business.
Pizza was delicious.
We will be back
