My new go-to lunch spot! Not only is the downtown location walking distance from my work but the hours accommodate my later lunch schedule! John always greets with a smile, offers friendly conversation, and makes one hell of a sub! Overall, a great experience and if you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out! Great food, great service, great atmosphere ☺️ pictured is their Italian Hoagie with everything on it – YUM!

First, it is a little cold in the restaurant, but I know we’re next to a door. Staff very pleasant. I know we came in a little later and a few things weren’t available. Hubby got the lobster bisque and the fish dinner. MIL got the Italian Wedding soup and stuffed cabbage rolls. I got the Caprese sub, small bag of chips and a vanilla Lady Horn. My food was so good!! The bread was soft and a slight chew to it, the horn was delicate and flaky. Hubs loved his food, saying it all had a really good flavor. Even MIL said the food is “good”, which places don’t get from her very often. Decent selection of specialty meats and foods as well. This is a must see in Uniontown, PA!!!

Nice restaurant/deli and very clean. Had the Italian which was very good and nice size, had to take 1/2 home. Very tasty soup- gnocchi something was loaded with stuff and was filling. Also bought some lady locks which were excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful

What is it with this small town and hole-in-the-wall restaurants that are just killing it. I mean these little mom&pop shops are soo much better than chain eateries.
Seriously, choose this place over Olive Garden if you want sausage or meatball hoagies, just make sure you have somewhere to go sit and eat. There are no benches to eat at in *or* around this place and hardly enough room to turn around when they get a line going but I love that about small shops like this. All of their food is delicious! If you want any of the daily specials you’ll need to call early; they’re usually sold out of specialties by lunchtime.
Yes, you do want the pepper mix on your hoagie. It comes on the Italian (pictured below) Make sure you get their special balsamic reduction as well. They stuff them full! You won’t leave hungry.

My recent visit to World Importing was nothing short of disappointing. The management and staff’s lack of professionalism was evident as I observed employees openly smoking outside the restaurant, creating a negative impression right from the start.
Furthermore, the claims made by the restaurant about immersing customers in rich flavors and culinary traditions fell significantly short of reality. Despite boasting about an 87-year-old legacy and offering an unparalleled selection of ethnic foods and ingredients with a local twist, the overall dining experience failed to meet even basic expectations.
The promise of sourcing products directly from the surrounding area, including meats from Shandore Farms, seemed like a distant dream as the quality and freshness of the ingredients used in the dishes were questionable at best.
It is clear that World Importing has failed to deliver on its grandiose promises of a fresh, quality dining experience. The disconnect between their marketing claims and the actual dining experience is a major disappointment, making it difficult to recommend this restaurant to others.

Finally had the opportunity to stop in this evening for dinner. Excellent selection and impeccably clean. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Ordered Italian hoagies, which were absolutely amazing. They have the best hoagie I’ve had in a very long time. The pizza is also amazing! I can’t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend!!!
