Great Mexican food. Fast. Top notch salsa bar. Tons of outdoor seating. We ordered two burritos and an order of fried plantains and it was more than enough for two hungry adults.

The fresh dishes were super tasty! You can dress your own tacos and try everything. There were so many options. The staff was kind, informative and friendly. We ate on the patio and it was clean, stocked with napkins and had great music. Definitely coming here again. They were out of churros so we have to come back!

One of our favorite quick bites places in Mac. Always cooked to order. Been many times, great every time. Love the carna asda burrito. For a secret off menu item ask for the dbl burrito. But you better be really hungry cause a normal burrito is huge. And make sure to load up on the salsa and toppings bar. Included in the price.

The outside atmosphere was wonderful. They are open late. The Nacho Fries were bomb.. not pictured, there was nothing left. Lettuce tacos and street tacos were not what I would have expected for the authenticity of the place. Loved being able to add from the topping/sauce bar but really wish some of that came on the food….kinda bland. The birria tacos were full of flavor, glad I asked for the sauce it was delicious.

Amazing food oh my goodness. They have so many homemade salsas and toppings that are all so delicious. The horchata was perfect. I highly recommend to come here if you want some amazing spicy authentic Mexican street food.

Decent affordable street tacos with a good selection of meats. I can’t speak to the greatness of the other food they serve here….. I just had the carnitas, chicken, and tripa tacos. I’ve definitely had better, but they were just fine.
What they do have going for them is their selection of taco toppings and salsas (set up like a salad bar). I enjoyed dining outside under the giant umbrellas at the picnic tables, but for how my friend was raving about this place….I guess I was expecting better?!? ♀️

Absolutely delicious, many choices, tried a ton of them. All great picks, the Birria was insane, tripa really good and crispy and fatty, and you can choose lots of sauces and toppings too. They even gave us an extra consome . Clean space too and great drinks, I got and loved their coconut and mango drink!

Whenever I make it to McMinnville I always try and stop at El Gordo. A friendly staff and great food makes for a great experience. They have done some remodeling work on the inside and it has turned out great with more things to grab while in town.

Delicious food, great people. My favorite is the tripe tacos. Eating inside is nice, especially on cold damp days. But our favorite is the food cart setting outside and the deck. Cooks are fun to watch prepare the food and they’ll do it however you want. Very nice atmosphere.
