The food was absolutely delicious! We had the gorditas and the menudo, and they were both amazing. They even gave us free samples of different guisos, which was such a nice touch. Everything tasted like home away from home. We’ll definitely be back next time you’re in New Mexico!

Authentic home cooked mexican food in a “hole in the wall” location near a laundromat in the North Valley. What a great surprise find. Their red chili sauce and refried beans were amazing. I got the chili on the side worried about it being too hot, but it was spicy but not too spicy to enjoy. Had the Huevos Rancheros, and they served with grilled onions on top and fresh warm tortillas. Friendly service and very authentic menu. We really felt like we walked into a small restaurant in the heart of Mexico. Even the main menu was in Spanish. A definite come back.

The milanesa torta boasted tender meat, and the torta de buche was savory and flavorful without being overly salty.

I have eaten in Mexican restaurants my whole life. In fact, I thought restaurant meant Mexican food as a kid because I didn’t know there was any other kind. I can tell you about the best hole-in-the-wall spots throughout Utah and Arizona and honestly this may surpass them all.
If you go, try the rajas, the carne rojo, and the carne verde. I’d recommend them in sopes.

The place was really cozy with warm welcoming service. The owners were pleasant and friendly. We got menudo, a carne asada sope, and asada quesadilla and it everything was warm and delicious home style like flavor.
