Just WOW! This place is the best sushi spot I’ve been to in San Diego so far! Their food is always super fresh and I LOVE how they have nigiri on their happy hour menu! The fish is so buttery and melts in your mouth. We have been coming to this place almost every two weeks for the past year, never disappoints! I highly highly recommend to try it!

Went for the first time Nov 11. Wait time wasn’t long at all, staff was friendly, filled at about half capacity. TVs played sports and there was nice music creating a relaxing atmosphere. Also, Tuesdays happen to be all day happy hour.
The menu consisted of rolls we’d never heard of before. You could ask for a menu of traditional rolls but for our first time we went with their specialty rolls off the happy hour menu. Started with shishito peppers as appetizers and they were medium spicy and the dipping sauce was tasty. Our rolls were the TJ roll, lightning roll, and the James Bomb roll, all of the happy hour menu. They were excellent! My favorite was the James Bomb. SO rich and delicious! Each was very flavorful on their own way, and the rolls were larger than expected. We should have stopped early and taken some home, but nah! They were too good. Definitely on our list for regular sushi cravings and especially on Tuesdays!

We really like the food here. Great vegan options. However, today, for the 3rd time, we came on a Sunday mid-day and the restaurant was closed for a couple hours with a sign on the door during regular operating hours. We drove 20min each way. Not cool. Just change the hours.

New sushi restaurant and we went for their great Happy Hour. It is from 5-6pm on weekdays. I think 1-3pm on the weekends. No alcohol yet but was told that it’s coming in a couple of weeks.
Food was delicious. Love the grilled salmon with green salad. The portions were big and prices were reasonable. The deep fried ice cream dessert was much larger than expected too. It came with strawberry ice cream which we wouldn’t have chosen but still good.
Will definitely be back!

Sauces are either quite sweet or salty. All food is really fresh. Vegie gyoza is delish. Use of Krab (vs Crab) is a shame. Everything is so artfully presented. Many yummy sounding vegan options.

I love that there are extensive vegan options that are well-thought-out; however, the Garden Delight roll was a bit too acidic and spicy for my tastes, and I usually like those flavors. The Vegan OG roll was really good but pretty rich for one person to eat alone. I’ll definitely come back to try the rest of the vegan rolls!

Our waitress Cindy was very helpful and polite.
I had a Japanese 75 cocktail ( loved it). Spicy seafood miso soup also very good…everything was great!
