This place is legit dim sum – you want chicken feet or congealed ox blood? You’re in luck. They have both. They also have a lovely selection of dumplings and noodles. The shrimp stuffed eggplant was unreal. We will definitely be back.

An absolute hole-in-the-wall Chinese dim sum gem in Houston. The fried turnip cake with XO sauce is a must. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

I came here on a Saturday, between lunch and dinner. Only 2 other tables were busy and I was prompted to pick my table. I ordered lap xuong baos (hard to find, and I love them), Chinese broccoli, and chicken feet. I took out my laptop and could work and graze for almost 2 hrs before I thought I better leave because they are about to need the table. I will do this again soon.

Hidden Gem Alert!

I recently discovered a Dim Sum spot tucked inside the Welcome Market that I hadn’t known about before. Was hesitant at first, but the food turned out surprisingly good—better than other places on Bellaire.

The dishes were flavorful and tasty, and while the service was just okay, the food definitely made up for it. The siu mai here was fresh and juicy, not dry like at many other places. The BBQ pork buns were tasty ….

I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes next time!

Slept on this little hidden gem tucked away in a corner of Chinatown, recently revisited and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing dim sum. Pork and egg congee – salty, savory, good ratio of preserved egg and pork. Steamed shrimp dumpling – average, sauce was too sweet for my taste, slightly watery. Bean curd roll – juicy, meaty, umami bomb. Ginger and beef tripe – crisp yet chewy, well balanced in flavor. Steamed Pork and Nut dumpling – some crunch, hefty dumpling, not my favorite of the bunch but still good. Steamed pork rib – tender, slightly gelatinous, black bean flavor. Chicken feet with black bean sauce – loved the more savory rendition of this dish, only gripe was the feet were too small and a bit overcooked. Pan fried bean cake – fresh pan seared rice cake with ‘not too sweet’ red bean filling. Quick service, reasonably priced, bang for your buck, no frills dim sum spot.

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant that specializes in dim sum, and while the food was decent, there is room for improvement in terms of service.

The cook-to-order system ensured that the dim sum arrived fresh and hot, which was a positive aspect. The menu offered a good variety of dim sum options, satisfying different tastes and preferences.

However, I noticed that the service lacked a certain level of friendliness. While the staff was attentive, there was a missed opportunity to create a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere. A more personable approach would enhance the overall dining experience.

On the positive side, the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, providing a comfortable setting for enjoying the meal.

In summary, this Chinese restaurant offers decent dim sum dishes, but there is room for improvement in terms of service. Enhancing the friendliness of the staff would go a long way in creating a more memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Best dim sum I’ve had! My husband grew up eating in Little Saigon in CA and this place hit the spot!! We got our food one dish at a time but it gave us time to savor each dish. The Singapore noodles are amazing!!

This is my favorite dim sum place. I’ve dined-in and picked up foods here several times and never had a problem at all. The food is very tasty! Even when it’s super hot or humid I still like to go there and eat dim sum with a pot of hot tea.

Service was fast and the food came out hot, which was a plus. However, the flavor was lacking overall — the beef fried rice, for example, needed more seasoning. There’s a good variety on the menu, but only the dumplings and wontons really stood out. Not the cheapest spot either, so we expected a bit more in terms of taste.
