If you’re wandering down Cherokee Street and craving something that’ll light up your taste buds, let me introduce you to KBop, a genius little spot that’s absolutely killing the bowl game.
The setup? Perfection. Whether you want to park yourself at one of their vibe-y tables or slap a lid on that bowl and bolt, KBop’s got you covered. But let’s get to the real star of the show: the spicy tofu.
Oh. My. Word. This isn’t just tofu; it’s a flavor bomb. It was spicy, saucy, and straight-up addictive.
And while you’re waiting for this masterpiece, you can perch at the counter and watch the magic happen. It’s like dinner and a show.
KBop, I’m coming back for that tofu.

I almost never give out a 5-star rating in a restaurant review because I think that should be reserved for something extraordinary. Well this place is fully deserving. All of us in the family agreed that the selections we made were addictingly delicious. As we were having our lunch, we just each kept going ‘mmmm-mmm-mmm’… or ‘omg’… or ‘soooooo good’ as we went through our bowls! I got the spicy pork bowl, and the balance of flavors was wonderful, the spice level just right (not too much, or too little). Will be returning often. What a gem of a place.

Absolutely loved this place! The katsu was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the plum tea brought back such warm childhood memories. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—extravagant yet subtle, making it a charming spot to dine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious and nostalgic experience!

The food and service are great. The atmosphere isn’t horrible it’s just a bit much, very in your face touristy Korean theme. It feels disingenuous and fake. I really enjoyed the food and the lady that was running the front of house and kitchen by herself was doing a great job and was very nice. The store itself was very clean and well kept. I appreciated the free tea and the self service sauce area.

Hold on to your socks or they’re gonna get knocked off.
This place is awesome! Inside has the positive vibes of a good truck at a festival.
The staff are friendly and quick with service.
Then there’s the food, and omg this food. It smells wonderful and has a wonderful spread. The beef was killer! I ordered the special BiBimBop and it was an adventure going around the bowl, the kimchi was great and the seaweed was seasoned well.
I will return for more soon!

Remarkably quick! I was one in a group and our entire order came out lickedy-split. It was all To-Go and even though I dropped my bag getting into my house, the chicken katsu and sauces survived!
