Beautiful sunset at Nomad — the atmosphere and rooftop view alone make it worth it.

The sardine tart was very good and full of flavor. The zucchini fritter and burger were okay, solid but not the highlight.

Overall, a great spot for sunset vibes, non-alc drinks, and a relaxed Marrakech evening.

We visited Nomad rooftop in Marrakech for dinner & unfortunately there were very limited vegan options, basically only one choice per course and it felt overpriced for what was offered. The food itself tasted lovely, but it was mostly very simple salads and the portions were quite small. We actually left still hungry despite this being the most expensive meal of our trip.

The atmosphere was the highlight, beautiful at sunset with a busy, lively vibe. Service was good, but not as attentive as some nearby restaurants, likely because it was so busy.

Overall, we personally felt it wasn’t good value for money and wish we had chosen somewhere else 🙁

Lunch here on a breezy February day. The sun was out so seated us on the top terrace which wasn’t warm but some shelter from the wind and great views. Also meant there was a good ambiance as all guests together (it’s quite a big place). Friendly staff and mellow vibe but hero is the food – simple dishes beautifully done: courgette fritters – beetroot & carrot – aubergine & mushroom. Not as lush as Le Jardin but MUCH better food in our opinion.

Marrakesh is filled with rooftop restaurants which is perfect to watch the sunset. We would have preferred a spot at the very top for the views but settled for the lower level as we had a lot more space and privacy for our daughter. Fritters and calamari were yummy

Nomad delivers both atmosphere and thoughtful food. The tuna tartare was the standout – incredibly fresh, bright with herbs, and beautifully balanced in texture and acidity. It felt refined without being fussy. The zucchini fritters were pleasant but more straightforward, a bit less memorable compared to the tartare. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the staff: warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating in a way that made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Add in the rooftop views at sunset, and it becomes the kind of place you go not just for dinner, but for the mood.

Went to Nomad for lunch and really enjoyed it. The place has a very authentic feel – warm, lively, and full of character. The food was fresh and flavourful, and the whole experience felt effortless and welcoming. A great spot to enjoy Marrakech in a more genuine, grounded way.

Excellent rooftop dining experience. I recommend a reservation just to make sure you get a table where you want to sit. The views are very good. Nice breeze and shade. The 3 breads is a nice starter as well as the 5 juice tastings. My lamb chops were solids as we’re my partners prawns. Dessert was excellent with 2 ice creams scoops with unique flavors as well as date cake with vanilla ice cream. Excellent experience!

We booked this restaurant specifically to catch the sunset, and it was definitely worth it. It’s one of the few places with proper rooftop access and great views over the city, just make sure to book early or you might end up sitting under the strong afternoon sun before the sunset starts.

The food was decent overall. The sardine tarts were delicious and well-seasoned, the grilled lamb chops and chicken thigh tagine were hearty and flavourful, and the Agadir calamari was the standout dish, tender and paired with a beautiful tomato-based sauce that tied everything together.

A great place to unwind and enjoy the sunset over dinner, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The rooftop space is nice, but the service was disappointing. I waited over half an hour for my food, and even the bread starter I ordered wasn’t served until much later. A guest seated next to me arrived after I did and finished her meal before I even started mine. The lamb chop is just okay. I wouldn’t recommend. The prices feel a bit high for the experience, especially with the automatic 9% service charge.

We had made a reservation for 19:00 but we were at the Souk and quite tired, we we showed up around 17:30. We were immediately accommodated, got a great table at the rooftop (at the requested smoking section) and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
The whole experience had been pleasant and beyond expectation starting from the friendliness and accommodating nature of the Nomad team, to the mouth-watering dishes (starter: sardines, main courses: beef with prunes and couscous, and lamb shank) to the amazing date cake with saffron). Excellent music too. In all, we had a super experience! Thank you Nomad
