By far the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. My wife’s shrimp boil was delicious my son’s popcorn shrimp was perfect and my fried grouper was the best I’ve had in years. I don’t get a lot of fried food because no one knows how to cook it without making it to greasy. They waited to drop the shrimp and fish until I got there to make sure it was fresh! That’s excellent customer service. And the environment and atmosphere was on point!!! The guys were very nice and friendly. Making me feel right at home. I will definitely be dine if in there next time. We even got home and they called me to tell me they accidentally left out a couple shrimp. I wasn’t worried about it at all and told him it was no big deal but he offered to make it right. But the fact that he noticed made a huge difference! It’s customer service like that that makes a successful business. We will be back here soon and often! Thanks guys! This is exactly what Madison needed.

Great visit tonight. I highly recommend the fried flounder- it was so light and flaky. Next time I want to try the shrimp boil. Family-run business. I spoke with one of the owners at length- very friendly and accommodating. She used to own the pizza restaurant connected to Dive In, so if seafood isn’t your thing, the pizza on the menu is good (son had a personal pizza, and we watched multiple people pick up pizzas to go while we were dining).
The restaurant can look closed from the street, but don’t pass it by without checking.

Food and service were both very good. Service was friendly and helpful. The fried basket with shrimp and grouper was delicious. My husband had the big seafood basket with crab and lobster. He said that it was good but had a little bit too much seasoning. Four stars only because it wouldn’t be my very first choice for eating out next time

My husband and I ate for the first time at Dive in Seafood Bar and Eatery in Madison, GA and the meal was wonderful!! I ate flounder and trout with broccoli. My husband had shrimp and grouper with corn on the cob. Everything was delicious and mouth watering. Oh my goodness, the flavor was awesome. Did I mention that the service was excellent, well it was. We will definitely go again. If you love seafood and live near Madison, GA you have to give them a try.

Tried this establishment for the first time this week and was very pleased with the service. First of all, be patient it’s a unique business with food quite different from some of the other eateries in the area. I patiently await at my grouper basket which was actually really delicious. My only feedback is more tartar sauce with my plate. The tartar sauce was yummy! Not your standard packets. You can tell there is a good quality effort taking place here. I found the owner and her staff to be highly professional and on point despite how busy it was. I look forward to going back in trains some of the other menu items in the future.

Ordered the Atlantic salmon and it was good, but instead of rice I asked for extra broccolini and literally got 4 pieces. The portions for price were ridiculous. My husbands fried fish basket was pitiful.
We paid $55 for ridiculous amount of food.
Also, it was very odd that the waitress reacted to all things we said in private at table, such as I mentioned I order unsweetened tea and it tasted sweet. She automatically brought correct one right out right after and said something about realizing it wasn’t correct.. then we mentioned to each other portion size and she came up and asked about meal and portions.. we noticed a camera near by…. don’t want to sound paranoid but it was very odd. Waitress was nice and responsive though.
Overall, probably wouldn’t go back because of portions/cost, but not due to taste or friendliness.

Omg, what a great meal. Did half a pound of shrimp bucket and half a pound of crab legs bucket. Sauce was perfect. Hot enough to feel but with a great seasoned buttery flavor. Staff was kind and fun to talk to. We bought extra sauce to take home. ‘Cause is all about the sauce. Don’t drive through Madison without stopping.
