Their rolls are alright. Half of items on their menu I’d say are pretty decent – but what you’re paying for – their sushi, is absolutely abhorrent. Warm, improperly seasoned rice with the smallest pieces of lowest quality fish bordering on expiration that always looks like it’s been sliced by a 5 year old. Their service is ok depending on who you get. The layout of the restaurant is a bit of a disaster as is the overall atmosphere. Not worth the price in my opinion.

This location sushi lover compared to the green bay is a little less, but still really good. The food is always good and it is an all you can eat sushi restaurant with a very large menu and a large selection to choose from, the food is great and is always a good place to go when your hungry. The atmosphere was good, but the booth chairs were starting to show some hole and tears. I personally would never ask a recommendation from a server because everyone i have, it was not good and huge to fill you up fast. Overall great place and would go again, but if I had a choise the greenbay location has a better atmosphere and servers.

Had a good experience at Sushi Lover in Appleton. The sushi is fresh and tasty, but what amazed me were the thick cuts of sashimi. Compared to the other similar AYCE sushi buffet in the area ( Google it, starts with an A ), the sushi to rice ratio is perfect. Service is very fast and you can expect food within 2-4 minutes. When the restaurant started filling up, it took about 15 mins to get our next order, so I suggest you place orders in big batches! Good selection of sushi, I must recommend the salmon and escolar ( white tuna ), both very buttery! Also parking can be hard to get if busy but meters are free on weekends. Appleton location missing some exclusives like salmon skin and other msc sushi, but over all I recommend it. Best AYCE sushi in Wisconsin ATM!

I have ordered takeout from Sushi Lover a lot (& from a lot of other sushi places) … the size of their tuna rolls is sad … 2 rolls is about the size of 1 tuna roll anywhere else. This is 2 rolls $10. Also, the online order pickup service Mealkey says no charge, but then the restaurant charges a $1 convenience fee anyway?

Sushi Lover was great. When you talk about all you can eat sushi, you never know what to expect. I’ve had all you can eat sushi all over the US and this is the second best place I’ve tried. The food was good quality and tasted great. It didn’t have a cheap, frozen or rubbery taste/texture that you may get from other spots. The hibachi steak was cooked great and the sushi was top notch! Wish I wasn’t just passing through as this place was fantastic. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a sushi place, darker colors, decent theme and relaxed environment. The service was great, someone came by consistently and asked if I wanted to order anything else and another person came by to take plates away as soon as I was done. Highly recommend!

Updating mt five star review to a 1 star. Used to eat here weekly it’s recently went downhill due to staff. Last month of ordering food and never would get any of the sauces or condiments that are supposed to come with it. Twice I spent over $50 on hibachi for my family and never got the sauces that give it flavor or condiments.

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant! I love that it’s all you can eat. There is a really good variety of raw sushi, cooked sushi, sashimi, appetizers, vegetables, hibachi, teriyaki, yakisoba, fried rice, and more. The food is always delicious and I get it so quickly! The service is also amazing here. Everyone is super friendly and they always greet me with a smile.
My favorite rolls are the Wisconsin Roll, Dynamite Roll, Godzilla Roll, Sushi Lover Roll, Angry Bird Roll, Volcano Roll, and Crazy Roll. I love all of their rolls, but those are the ones I get the most. I switch off, depending on what I’m in the mood for!
I highly recommend eating here! This is the perfect place to go out to eat with family and friends.
