What a cute find in Rolesville. Abundant portions, thoughtful sides: crispy hash browns, cheesey grits, and kalaidescope colored fruit bowls. You might want to split breakfast offerings if you can’t make up your mind and want to try a few different things.

You have to try their muffins and dessert pastries! I also recommend the sausage mini bite and the chicken salad on ciabatta! And Grandma’s homemade soups are incredible!

I got the steak sandwich, I think it was over $15, first of all the prices are ridiculous, for a sandwich and a mini bag of chips. I would expect 8 to 9 dollars as a fair price. I went in at noon on Friday and no one was in the place. After seeing the prices, I can see why. Not sure how long this place was in business, but unfortunately, their prices will prevent me from coming back. The food I had was small, but decent, and highly overpriced. I placed a fork beside the sandwich for a size reference.

Had a great to-go lunch from Bites on Main this week, the mav steak sandwich and my toddler had the ham & swiss croissant. Food was outstanding, very good flavor profiles. Staff was very helpful in understanding the menu options and answering my questions. For the high lunch price I would have preferred real food for side options instead of a bag of chips, but that wouldn’t prevent me from coming back. Also wish they had sugar free soda options, but again won’t prevent me from returning. Can’t wait to try their breakfast!

Just found this gem of a place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Wife had the Bacado, I had the sausage egg and cheese with pesto on the side. LOVED them both. Hadn’t thought of pesto for breakfast, now I will be eating it more often. We’ll be baaaccckkk (in my best Swartzegar imitation).

Kara the chef prepared a delicious mushroom, spinach and cheese omelette! I ordered a side of candied bacon which was cooked perfectly and paired well with the omelet, too. The best part about the breakfast was that she also made fabulous gluten free pancakes which we ordered for my gluten sensitivity and my friend who is celiac disease! Service is very friendly however a little slow but definitely worth the wait for the food! Place is small but clean and cozy!

Overpriced food $15 for chicken and waffles and made my food wrong, didn’t offer to remake it.The mistake made my food taste horrible do not recommend.
Liking spicy doesn’t automatically mean chipotle works with everything, especially chicken & waffles. The flavor combo just didn’t work, and that’s not something I could’ve known ahead of time since I’ve never had it prepared that way before. What was more frustrating was that there wasn’t any offer to remake the dish or even give me the option of a refund. If something is truly a “fan favorite,” I’d expect a little more effort to make it right when you make a mistake. Feedback isn’t an attack, it’s just honesty.

Always happy to have another mom & pop / locally owned business in town. As others have mentioned the food is really good, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but service is a little slow, and using some actual cutlery and plates would do them some good. However, they’re still new and I’m sure given some time they’ll work out some of the kinks. Definitely recommend for a decent meal!

Bites on Main is such a cute shop. Love the atmosphere with a team that loves to be there. McKenna was a pure delight and made sure that after eating our meal if we enjoyed it or needed anything extra! Will 100% be back again!!! The mini pancakes were so good!!!

This place seems like it has potential, but needs a little something more to be good.
Prices are a bit high for what you get. There is a small discount for paying in cash.
The drink options are limited and overpriced. You could not get a cup of water with your meal, instead they wanted you to pay $2 for bottled water. There were some bottled drink choices available in a fridge. There was also Folgers coffee. Installing a soda fountain/ice machine or offering tap water would be an improvement.
The breakfast sandwich was good, and came out at a good temperature. The perfect bite platter came out room temp, as did the mini pancakes. There was a decent wait for the food, so I’m not sure why it wasn’t hot. The mini pancakes seemed like they were heated packaged pancakes, not made in house. They may need to add heat lamps or warmers in the expo, so that everyone’s meal comes out at a good temperature.
Adding real cutlery would be an improvement over plastic. It is difficult to cut anything with plastic knives.
The dining area was clean and inviting. The place was nicely decorated for the holidays. Tables sat 2-4 people, and were spaced well.
I’ve seen that they are responding to feedback in the reviews, and making adjustments, so I would try this place again.
