I have found a few pics of my favorite dishes I would always get, and I will add more once I can find them.
They are in Fontana, CA, right about a mile off of the I-10. Parking is very limited, but, I normally always found a place to park, even though I am in an 18 Wheeled Car!
Eunice was my normal waitress, and I can’t remember the names of the rest at the time I was going there, but Eunice was the daughter, of the family run business. Hope I am spelling her name correct.
I am sure she is still working hard to bring the hungry people who come in for the Absolute Best Mexican Food available, and I have tried Mexican food in many different states, and I can tell you without any doubt, La Cascada is Simply The Best! Period, Bar None!
Once you try it, you will be a Loyal Fan For Life!
The negative for me, is they serve soda in cans, so there is no free refills, however, the service is good, the Food is Amazing, so, that does not bother me too much…
PS I will add more images when I find them, as I had several favorites, and I am not seeing my Caldo Siete Mares right now. Also, their homemade tortillas are Awesome!
Went here on a recommendation from a social media influencer, and it seems they were paid for their review.
Went on a Saturday at 2pm and they were half full. We were allowed to seat ourselves and our booth was somewhat clean. Took awhile for our waitress to come over and was a sign of things to come.
Service time was long throughout the visit and the food quality didn’t make up for it. The steak and eggs were a solid 7 out of 10, difficult to not get that right.
Tortillas were made by hand and were a 8, but the fish and shrimp tacos left much to be desired. Presentation of the tacos was a warning and unfortunately the fish or shrimp themselves weren’t good either. The tacos were both prepared ala “white people taco night” with shredded lettuce, american cheese and chopped tomatoes. The combination made for a very bland taco, I’ve had more spice and flavor from Taco Bell.
The table next to us had been unoccupied and uncleared since our arrival and wasn’t cleaned off until we got our bill 50 minutes into our sitting.
Location has the mom and pop vibe and I can understand the nostalgia people have that influences their opinion on the food here. Unfortunately it missed the mark for us on several fronts, won’t be coming back.
2nd time we went, food was ok but michelada no good.
Normally i would not rate any average place, but its been few weeks and yesterday owner drove up on our side on Foothill blvd and asked if we remembered him-we didnt but he proceeded to talk and ask why we did not return saying we did not like it and asked if we lived nearby.. just creepy and awkward. It is a place i would not go back due to weird owner. He should mind his business better
