We are a full service tavern with a very comfortable family dining experience. People under 21 are allowed to dine with us until 7pm. Our staff is very friendly and our food is fantastic. If you drive in or ride in all are welcome. Come just us for a cold one or some great food. We also have our taco Tuesday every week for 3 for $10.

Absolutely the best damn bar in Idaho! The Elkhorn Sauce, created by Nikki, is out of this world. With excellent service, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, it truly feels like home. It’s the perfect place to relax and have a great time!

We didn’t have any food, just a couple of beers. Cool stop in a very small town. Lady behind the bar was very nice. There’s a pool table, jukebox, casino machines and on Saturday nights they have karaoke.

This is owned by my step family. They are really great and it is the local social hangout for weippe, ID. They have karaoke and a pool table if you would like to play. They haven’t gotten their permits to sell food quite yet. Their prices are very decent and the staff is very welcoming.

We decided to stop by The Elkhorn Tavern while traveling through Idaho as I heard it is under new ownership. What a difference from our last visit. It is now non-smoking! Yay! Now everyone can enjoy this place without breathing in smoke & smelling like a nasty ashtray when they leave. Our beers were ice cold and reasonably priced. The place has been freshly painted and it looks like they are working hard to fix it up. I spoke with the new owners and they were friendly and focused on making this a fun, successful establishment in Weippe. We will definitely be back to enjoy this small town tavern.

Nicest bar in Weippe. the only other choice is the Lucky, diagonally across the street Nice folks in the Elkhorn and it has a great history. Stop in during the daytime and say hi to Millie or go in in the evening and play some pool. Free pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bartenders are very nice.
