⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Haruya Ramen – Flavorful Bowls & Friendly Service!

Haruya Ramen in Alhambra is officially one of my new favorite ramen spots! The broth is rich and full of flavor without being overly thick, which I loved—especially in the tonkotsu ramen. Their house spicy sauce is a must if you like a kick—it’s made in-house and adds the perfect heat without overpowering the dish.

I also tried the miso ramen + $3 beer combo, which is such a great deal, and the portions are generous across the board. The chicken karaage was crispy and juicy, and the spicy pork bowl (제육덮밥) was super comforting and authentic (I’m Korean, and I can confirm it’s legit!).

The restaurant is super clean, and the staff—especially our server Jason—were kind and knowledgeable with great recommendations.

If you’re in the SGV area and craving quality ramen with great service and flavor, Haruya Ramen is absolutely worth the visit!

I tried out this new ramen place for the first time and loved it ! I’ve had the tonkotsu ramen, it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of deep umami flavor definitely worth the 14–16 hours of simmering! The noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the chashu was incredibly tender, melting in my mouth. <3 <3

I also ordered the chicken karaage as a side, and it was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flavorful inside. It paired really well with the ramen. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend coming this place for tonkotsu ramen lovers!

This place is absolutely amazing. They have amazing Ramen. The broth is very rich and flavorful. They marinate the meat which I got pork and a certain sauce that makes the meat very delicious. The spicy sauces really good and flavorful as well. It’s a bit spicy though so be careful. The service was amazing. They cooked the broth for multiple hours and the ambience of the places really nice as well. I highly recommend this place of your in the area.

This newly opened ramen spot in the SGV is a cozy gem. Their signature Tonkotsu Ramen boasts a rich, creamy broth simmered for 14–16 hours, packed with deep umami flavor. The new Miso Ramen is just as impressive—bold, savory, and full of character. I was also pleasantly surprised by the appetizers—both the Chicken Karaage and Pork Oun were incredibly tasty. Don’t forget to try their house-made lemonade—it really ties the whole meal together.

Wanted to try Haruya since it opened! Friendly and kind staff with super fast service. I ordered the mini kimbop, which was really tasty, and the pork tonkatsu. Unfortunately, it’s was missing some flavor, but I added chili paste and the sauce from the kimbop. Which made it taste a lil better, and the broth was not as hot (temperature), but the pork was tender and buttery, and the noodles were springy and delicious!!! Would come back for those two alone. Overall, I would come again to try other things on the menu and another bowl od ramen.

Really great vegan ramen with so much flavor! My bf has hard time finding a ramen that he enjoys because he goes to Japan often, and nothing compares to it. But he was impressed with this ramen. Recommend! Great service too by the young lady at the front.

My wife and I went try out this new ramen restaurant called Haruya Ramen in the shopping center where Starbucks and Jamba and other restaurants on Fremont Ave in Alhambra. We step in the restaurant and greet by the waitess/hostess and lead to our table and hand us the menu and brought us water. We look at the menu and know what we want we decided to the Tonkotsu with pork broth then my wife decided order an extra egg and I bamboo shoots and we order the chicken Karaage for a appetizer before our Tonkotsu arrive.

First the waitess brought the chicken karaage including two side dipping sauce. We took a bite it was crunchy and light and chicken was tender and juicy and add the dipping were good on the side they salad on the chicken karaage. Final our Tonkotsu Ramen it smell so good and I taste the pork broth it was ligh5 and full of flavor and amazing broth. My wife and I enjoy the food and service very much we will come back again and try different items.

As others have mentioned before, the broth is not hot it’s warm-room temp type but it is a delicious broth! I wish It was hot but the owner has mentioned before that this is their style of serving ramen. I ordered mushrooms on the side for the ramen and they tasted odd. So I’ll definitely skip out on that next time. The noodles weren’t my favorite either but I did enjoy their sweet egg! The fried rice was okay, needed a bit more flavor. It was bit too oily for my liking. The chicken w salad was good, it came with two sauces that were so yummy. The iced matcha was delicious. The service was amazing and the servers were very attentive 🙂

Kanpai Nothing brings family together better than a delicious meal (and beer) , and you can clearly see the joy and happiness with every bite here from mine at Haruya Ramen in Alhambra in my very own SGV (San Gabriel Valley)

This cozy and comfortable ramen restaurant specializes in tonkotsu ramen, with their broth simmered for 14-16 hours to create a rich and creamy flavor. My must order appetizers at Japanese spots are Takoyaki (traditional Japanese octopus-filled balls) and Garlic Edamame. What are yours?

First time trying ramen or don’t know what to get? Order this lineup and thank me later:

Sapporo Draft beers
Tonkatsu Ramen with Pork
