Mushy old rice on a Saturday night. Couldn’t even tolerate it. Just ate the chicken… that looks old as well. The closest Chinese spot to all these residents and you serve us trash to call it a night.

So glad I finally stopped in to get a “taste”, and it’s nice to know there’s a respectable takeout place nearby to hit when visiting my mum.
Food was ready in no time and the ordering process was a breeze, as the young chap behind the counter was cordial and friendly.
My General Tso’s Chicken was decent enough. The texture is on point and the sauce is thick and savory, but overall didn’t knock my socks off.

August 8th 2025 That the the happiest Happy family dish I have ever had!!!! I ran in just before closing time. The plastic to go container was jammed packed full of meats and seafood. It was not bogged down with veggies either. It was wonderful, flavorful and I was very impressed . Their egg drop soup actually had a yummy chicken flavor that is very hard to come by these days. Thank you China taste in Varina Va you blew that 1 out of the park!!!

Tryed a lunch special for the first time at this establishment. Walking in the building, it looked bland and dated. My food was hot and actually really good. I was surprised and will be back to try another dish.

Usually pretty good but tonight was anything but. Ribs were dried out, overcooked and rubbery. Fried rice had no flavor and sweet and sour chicken was dry and overcooked. Really a let down from past meals.

I really liked this restaurant. Customer service is good, they are usually quick and the building is clean. My lower review is due to the employees not wearing mask or gloves for food preparation & serving. Especially the older lady and gentlemen cooking. I witness the older like scratching her head and wipe her nose. I made them aware and asked for her to wash her hands and I’m not sure if it was done.. Although I like the food and restaurant, safety comes first especially in todays climate, I will be limiting my visits there. Very sad

Just let me say $61.00 … I just gave away. I ordered 5 items…ALL of them were horrible. Who has ever had sesame chicken and it was dryyyyy…no sauce on it whatsoever.
House egg fu young and house lo-mein with dried up pieces of pork. Who does that???. Plus every other place I’ve ever ordered HOUSE means chicken, beef and shrimp. NEVER had it with pork. Egg fu young had green leafy stuff in it and the gravy for it tasted awful. They say never say never…but I’ll NEVER order from here again…not even from another location.

I was reluctant on trying it due to some poor reviews but I enjoyed the food! It was quickly prepared, hot and cooked well. I gave it 4 stars because it’s not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but still good! I’ll definitely order from here again.

Love the food here! When we moved I was worried we wouldnt find a good chinese spot but this place is great. The food is always on point and they are very fast to have your order ready. I wish they delivered but I am not that far so no big deal. I do enjoy it whenever we order and highly recommend.
