High quality, filling food for a great price. There was also a wide variety of menu options in their cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and burgers. The service was exceptional and the historic pictures around the restaurant added great atmosphere. Could have used some music, but overall a fantastic lunch spot.

First time ever going and it was great!! The food was delicious. We had the a Reuben and the Cottonwood. Both great choices and didn’t disappoint! The chips are homemade and yummy! Service was great and fast. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu items.

We were passing through Fallon today stopping at 2:00 p.m. for a late afternoon lunch. Everything was perfect from the food, the service, and the decor. It was a delightful stop. We had a Veggie Sandwich with chips and a Salad Trio. Everything was delicious, and all served up with a warm smile and friendly service. We were over the top elated with our choice to dine here.

Smaller staff so during peak lunch hour you may wait a bit but the wait is worth it. The sandwiches are good, the daily soup is fun and their house made potato chips keep me coming back. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a good choice if you want decadence and dont have plans for the rest of the afternoon

What a wonderful experience! I ordered the lamb burger because my co-workers told me its the best! Their NOT WRONG! Great flavors and cooked to perfection! The portion was just right not too much and not too little. The tomato soup really shocked me as well its super flavorful! I was just expecting some tasteless soup but it is well seasoned! Great job to the cook and the very friendly staff there I’ll surely be back again!

Went on a little drive on Saturday and visited Fallon for the first time and decided to eat at The Slanted Porch. It was a nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant has a full bar as well. The service was good but not great and the food was good but not great. My wife ordered the steak salad which barely had any steak on it and definitely wasn’t worth $20, steak had no flavor. I had the prime rib melt which barely had any meat as well, didn’t even fill up the bread. I definitely don’t mind paying for good food, as long as you’re getting your moneys worth. Charged $2.50 for fries and $1.50 for a tiny side of ranch. On our next trip to Fallon we may try a burger but I will make sure to bring my Amex Black card

Restaurant is in a house with beautiful patios outside and comfortable seating inside. There is also a bar that you can sit at. We had hamburgers, and they were delicious. I had mango tea. the service was great. The atmosphere was friendly, very family oriented and the food was delicious.

A++ experience. Excellent service and food that went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered a turkey sandwich that contained avocado and havarti cheese among other delicious ingredients, on a Dutch crunch roll. Sandwich melted in my mouth! I chose clam chowder as my side, (the soup of the day) and it was delectable as well! Staff was all smiley, friendly and eager to please. I will definitely be back to this hidden gem.
