Absolutely love Dogmud Tavern. The food is fantastic with options for gluten free and vegetarian. I also love that they have zero-proof mocktails, since I can’t drink.
Plus the game corner, events, and overall vibe of so fun. Highly recommend people check it out, especially if they enjoy puns, pop culture, and card or board games.

I didn’t get a picture of the mac and cheese and pizza in time, but you can tell by the pic I did get that they were really good. Lol. I don’t usually care for pizza, but the pizza sauce here is really good. I had the veggie Toto Potato taco and oh my goodness!!! SOOOO good! 20/10!! The atmosphere is great, the servers are great. Just an awesome place to come and enjoy your family in a place where they actually want to put their phones down!! Make a visit, you won’t be disappointed!!

First time here and it was for lunch. Great spot with supper friendly people. The food was very good and the building was well kept and clean.
10/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back at night to play some games and have a few drinks!

Dogmud Tavern in Ridgeland was… pretty good overall, but also a little puzzling.
The first thing that stands out is the massive menu. It’s almost too big — so many options that it makes you wonder what the place is really trying to specialize in. Sometimes less is more.
That said, the food we did order was solid. The club sandwich was huge and absolutely on point — fresh, stacked high, and definitely enough for a big appetite.
The bigger surprise was the atmosphere. When we visited, the place was almost empty, which is always a little strange for a spot with this much space and such a large menu.
Nothing was bad at all — it just didn’t quite have that spark that makes you want to linger or immediately plan your next visit.
Overall, it’s a perfectly decent neighborhood tavern, and the food we had was good. With a more focused menu and a little more energy in the room, it could easily move up a star or two.
For now: a solid 3 stars.

This place is great! Very unique. Lots of board game available. Everything from Harry Potter, Dungeons and Dragons to Star Wars, video games etc. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere..it’s just awesome. Can’t wait to get back.

Sure, it was a little pricey (not outlandish by any means), but they don’t charge you for playing their board games, so it felt absolutely fair.
The staff was kind and helpful, the area was roomy and geekily decorated, and the food was tasty enough to come by even if board games weren’t on the agenda!
(They even had an area where you could play some old school console games. So cool!)

Excellent place with nothing but good vibes. Music specific to games, movies and just cool stuff played while you enjoy free video & board games. The whole place is decorated like a gamers den, past to the present, with a Harry Potter realm feel.
Service was fun and friendly with great suggestions. I shared wings and a mystery machine pizza and it was awesome.
The wife suggests the Butter Beer drink from Harry Potter movies.
I will return with more friends.

7/21/25 – My Father invited me and my family here to eat, the atmosphere was right up my alley. Lovely service and opportunities to play board games among a large selection of fantasy based games.
I decided to have their McNubber burger which had chili on it with their steak fries. Absolutely delicious. Overall fantastic first experience, my only negative is that we don’t have one in Meridian.

This was my first time @ Dogmud and I will absolutely be back. If for no other reason than the FABULOUS service from Jessica. (I think that was her name. I home!) Salad was yummy and fresh, cool dim/cozy atmosphere. 10/10 really enjoyed it. Ask for Jessica!
