New owners making changes for the better like new booths and layout along with food specials. Cleaning it nicely too. Soups are very good and this is what’s left of my onion soup ! The BBq nachos are probably the best in the state for nachos.

Unfussy classic bar/pub environment with a surprisingly good extensive menu. From wings to burgers to entrees. A lot of decent selections. Service is excellent as well. Could be a nice family spot for a lunch or dinner or a great place to have a beer and watch the game.

THE CHICKEN TENDERS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT MATTER. Seriously, they’re the best I’ve had in about 10 years. The staff is always amazing the drinks are always great and the menu has something for literary everyone! Definitely give them a stop – it feels very nostalgic, in the absolute best way- and the prices are definitely a selling point too! Can’t wait to get back!

Use to go to Dave’s back in the day and it was always amazing. I havent been in a while and came in this night for a going away party. While I was there found out it was new owners. So, I was hoping to see some difference. Unfortunately, the only difference was we were disappointed. When we got there, there was a special menu in the area we were all placed. At first we we thought is was the specials for the day, until we asked for the regular menu. Then we were told we could not order from the regular menu due to the kitchen couldn’t handle it. ( meaning all the party) but was told if we sit in the main dinning room we can order off the regular menu. How does that make any sense same amount of slips going in the kitchen. ( Mind you I have worked in this industry for many yrs. As waitress and bartender so I know how it goes) So then we moved on. Mind you the staff is very nice and seem like they had everything in control. Moving on to drinks asked if they used real espresso in their espresso martinis. Was expecting a yes or no answer. She proceeded to explain what was in it and at the end said we use a bit of coffee but its really good. Unfortunately that not espresso. If by chance they used a espresso base like espresso vodka or tequila then you could get away with it. That wasn’t the case. So, my husband ordered me a Jack and ginger and husband got a Jack and coke. This was not Jack, this was either Jim Beam or like Williams. Many people in the party who was also drinking agreed def. was not Jack. If your going to use something else please let the customer know. We can understand maybe you ran out etc. God forbid someone had a allergy on these brands or whatever. People order what they like. Pay for what they ordered. You can not do this. That is like establishments pouring different cheap liqour in bottles and selling it what looks to be on the shelf for more. Its illegal and fraud. Special spirit regulations. Moving on to our food order my husband got fish n chips was loaded in batter and the piece was hidden in there. He ate some and just boxed the rest. He didn’t want to talk to anyone about it so thats on him. I had chicken sandwich was just ok. Both came with fries a little on the soggy side. So my review is not to bash a establishment it is so they can work on their mistakes. Maybe due to new owners, maybe due to a bad night, maybe dont have a management team yet. I hope they will work on what needs fixing and if I go again it will be better then the last.

We stopped by for fish & Chips and we were not disappointed. The fish was good, portion was generous as well. What impressed me was the New England clam chowder soup which was delicious, truly one of the best we ever tasted in our traveling through the New England region. Gianna our server, was friendly and sweet making our culinary experience really enjoyable. If you are passing through Warwick make a stop at this bar, it’s well worth it.
