Got a coffee and a matcha. The coffee cinnamon roll flavor tasted like only cinnamon powder, no vanilla. Overall tasted like burnt cinnamon water. Better shots/espresso and adding more vanilla to the cinn. Roll flavor would make it better. When I asked for more vanilla it was much better. As for the matcha it was still in powdery clumps and the added flavor for $.85 was no where to be found. For charging almost $8 a drink it better knock my socks off. Employee was nice when we ordered but when asked nicely for a remake, she didn’t hide her distaste. The matcha was still bad, I just don’t think they know how to make a proper one. Stuff is too expensive to be bad. Love supporting local but skip this place.

The menu has tons of great options (the “what do I pick?” kind of problem), everything we tried was excellent, and the service was genuinely top-notch. You can also tell this place is loved—the owner is hands-on, warm, and friendly in a way that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit.
And the best part? There was a steady stream of customers the whole time we were there… so it looks like the secret’s officially out.
Highly recommend—this is not your average coffee shop. If you prefer local (same), put Maplewood Deli & Coffeeshop at the top of your list.

This was my first but certainly will not be my last visit here. I tried the seasonal mint latte. While I wish I could taste more of the mint, it was delicious and filled to the very top of the cup. The baked goods looked amazing and I’d like to try other latte flavors.

When I indulge, my absolute favorite is their lavender honey latte, the most soothing and relaxing drink I’ve ever savored. I adore their avocado toast, which may require a pinch of salt and pepper, but paired with eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, and their other delectable options, it’s a match made in heaven. Their breakfast sandwiches featuring herbal cream cheese are a game-changer – incredibly delicious and deserving of accompaniment with every order. The service is exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, with the female owner being an absolute gem. She showers my dogs with love and attention, mirroring the top-notch care she provides to her customers. Undoubtedly, this is the ultimate coffee haven in Maplewood.

This spot has sweet and savory food. For the savory food, me and my companion got the buffalo chicken panini (SO GOOD!!!), avocado toast, and potato soup. For the sweet treats, I got the banana caramel macaroon (DELICIOUS), snickerdoodle cookie, and banana nut muffin. For drinks we got a hot chocolate and cinnamon bun latte. EVERYTHING was super delicious. I especially recommend the chicken panini, cinnamon bun latte, and as a treat, the banana caramel macaroon.
Overall, the food and atmosphere was fantastic, I can’t wait to go again!

We went here today and had the best service! Our daughter has food allergies and she was treated with great respect from the beginning to the end. The barista checked and showed us ingredients, and took time with us so we could eat safely. Fabulous customer service! This barista is patient, kind, knowledgeable, understanding and amazing. The drinks and food are delicious. Round of applause to this barista! Thank you!

Morning coffee and breakfast. It was Sunday morning, and the place was fully packed. We got a table and the coffee was served on the table l. The coffee was very basic and nothing fancy. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. I requested the bagel to be toasted, however on arrival I discovered that it was not toasted. Anyways, the place was packed, and maybe they were on running on a shortage of staff. Even we found the service to be slow. My partner ordered some vegan burrito with butternut squash and spinach. It was also very basic and underwhelming.

Coffee was alright. I would not recommend their bowls since I found mine a bit small. The bathrooms were also a bit dirty. But the servers were nice and the atmosphere was good as well.
