$37 for a steak & chz sandwich. An onion ring and a pudding … …. That’s kinda crazy. It was for delivery. (2.2 mi). But $37?? Very very thin layer of steak across the sub. Flavor of items isn’t bad, but little on cheap side for the price paid

I can see why this spot was voted for “Best Pizza 2025”! We got a few slices for takeout and got to chat with the owner. He and his staff were incredibly friendly. And the pizza is absolutely excellent – it is a fantastic pan-style slice. They made our slices to order, and they were delicious. Will certainly come back next time we are in Newtown!

This place was the best part of my driving mistake. Going from MD to NH in NY I took 83 instead of 95. Saw this place when we got hungry and it did NOT disappoint. This was the next pizza and wraps we had, the clam chowder was also amazing. Crunchy fries, good slaw, overall worth the visit.

I’m from Dallas Texas area, we were traveling through for work and stopped by at THE BEST PIZZA PLACE EVER!! I’m not over exaggerating but I would literally drive back to just have more. We had the meat lovers with peppers, it was perfect! The owner is an awesome guy as well!!

Was driving through Connecticut and learned it was the Pizza Capitol so I googled “best pizza near my location” and it brought me to Pizza Palace and I have to say Google was right for once it was definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had. The restaurant was extremely clean and if pizza isn’t your thing they offer a broad variety of different dishes. Just like the food, the owner is a top notch guy. We arrived just as they were closing and he still welcomed us in and took great care of us. While talking to him I learned he makes his pizza from scratch with all fresh and special ordered ingredients. You can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant, his food and his service and those are the ingredients to a great pizza. If you stop and eat here you will be blessed!!!

Both me and my friend got food poisoning the same night after eating this pizza. I called and the manager and he said if I come in person and speak to the boss I can get a refund. I went in person, and before I got my money back the boss was extremely rude, accusatory, and argumentative. I will never be coming back to this place, and everyone who sees this review should re consider where they order. Sure the food is good, but the way the boss spoke to me was not okay in any circumstance.

So like y’all know I love me some pizza… & this one right here like mmm unexplainable taste of the sauce! I loved the sauce. In many places I’ve too i ask for light sauce but this one made to my tops pizza place! Too bad I live soooo far! BEST welcoming ever at a eating stop! I wanted to ask his name but I was shy to do so! But his the man with white hair at the front and Boss vibe lol!! Very very welcoming and very friendly! Yes am the Dominican girl if you read this! Stopped here for lunch on a road trip and I’m so excited we did. The food was excellent. We ordered a burger and a BBQ chicken sandwich and both were delicious. The fries that came with both sandwiches were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely stop back in if I was local!

Im a professional driver who found himself racing the clock. Took this exit in hopes of finding truck parking, I needed desperately to take a 30 minute break. It was later in the evening and saw his lot was empty on one side to maybe turn around. Had to stop my clock so figured the least I could do was buy some food. Got lasagna and calamari with the house salad. Talked to the owner and staff while I waited all were very friendly. Got out to my truck to try the food and it was amazing. I do hope I find myself back here one day

Stopped in on a Thursday evening during a spontaneous road trip. We ordered 2 personal pizzas – 1 cheese & 1 buffalo chicken. One word – delicious! We ordered ‘to-go’ & the staff was very pleasant. The owner?/man making the pizza gave us a rundown on how their pizza is the best because of the cheese they use. He wasn’t lying! It has a thicker crust but works perfectly with the amount of sauce & cheese. SO cheesy and flavorful We really enjoyed them! Looking at the pictures makes me want it again… I wish I lived closer!
