We had lunch here today and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious! Our waitress did an excellent job. There are many health conscious choices and they were very accommodating about food allergies. The chef is from CA and she came out to talk with us several times about the allergies. We were impressed and looking forward to going back to dine there soon!

My husband and I just moved to Destrehan. We spent our first date night here and it was the perfect way to get introduced to the neighborhood! One of the reasons we wanted to move here was because every time we visited, people were so friendly and kind and this place didn’t let us down! From the atmosphere to the food to the staff to the neighborhood visitors, I can honestly say, this place is awesome. The food was amazing, the bartenders were sweet, there was karaoke going on that night, which was so much fun! The vibe felt more like we were hanging out and having a good time with friends rather than just going out to dinner/to a bar – in the best way possible.

We came here for date night and got street tacos to share, plus a margarita or two. Everything was delicious. Service was great and quick. Everyone was super friendly. We met the owner too and she mentioned how they do bourbon tasting nights and other cool events, so we will definitely be back.

I love supporting local restaurants, and after my first visit here three weeks ago, I was genuinely impressed. The food was excellent, and the service was equally great. Unfortunately, my experiences since then have been disappointing.

On one occasion, I ordered takeout, expecting the same quality. However, the Cypress sandwich was completely different—it tasted over-microwaved, the bread was not toasted, and the overall experience was far from my initial dine-in visit. I dismissed it as a takeout issue and decided to give dining in another try.

During our second visit, the chips we ordered were stale and came with a very small portion of queso, along with two additional dips we hadn’t requested. This was a stark contrast to our first experience, where the chips tasted homemade and fresh, served with a rich queso dip.

We returned once more with additional family members, and this time, we shared our previous concerns with the waiter. Unfortunately, the inconsistencies continued. One person ordered a taco salad, which arrived cold with ranch dressing. When we pointed this out, the kitchen simply reheated the taco meat and sent it back rather than preparing a fresh dish. The mac and cheese also arrived with an unexpected red sauce, which had to be sent back.

The sliders, which were excellent the first time, varied in quality each visit, never tasting quite the same. To add to the frustration, the restaurant struggled to get the bill right and couldn’t even print a receipt.

After my first visit, I eagerly recommended this place to others, but I wouldn’t do so today. Significant changes would be needed to restore the quality and consistency that initially made it stand out. It’s disappointing to see such a drastic decline from my first experience to my last.

Hope they turn this place around.

On Mother’s Day, we had to cancel our reservations at another restaurant. Looking for another place to eat everything was booked so we found Cantina at the Club. When we walked in it was a ghost town. The lady behind the bar told us it was a buffet and that we would have to get the food form “the back.” We walked to the back to find half eaten cold food left there for us to eat. We then walked back into the main area where the same lady told us that we could order our drinks and that it was a “make your own Bloody Mary” deal. Seeing the food and that no one was there we decided to leave. The woman then begged us to stay which we replied no thank you. Couldn’t tell you about the taste of the food because it was super unappealing. I will give it to the theming. That’s it.

We arrived with a huge party of 15. Reserved a table a few days before. Seated immediately when we arrived. Hardly anyone in the place.
Waitress was very nice and efficient.
Food was ok. Chips were thick and crunchy. Really good. I had a burrito and just wasn’t to my liking. Chipotle was away better. Was pretty much mixed reviews with others in the party. Some liked it and some felt the way Idid.
