Ok want to start this by saying I’ve heard the local gossip about this place and about some stuff that took place. We went last night as part of the start of the10th annual celtic calling event here in charleston wv. And im here to tell you right now I seen none of anything I’ve heard about this place prior. Staff was great and attentive food was really great. I had the leek soup Dublin twice baked potatoes and athe Sheppard pie pasty. I definetly plan to go back. Ohh and today march 4th 2026 they are going to have a corned beef pasty im dwf going back to try! It’s certainly worth checking out the place especially if you want a nice pub experience and some good Irish food

Everything was amazing!!
We came into town late and were looking for a quick bite. We felt bad about stopping in within an hour of them closing, but they still accommodated us without issue!!
The atmosphere was amazing, and our server Tressa was the best!!
We ordered the Shepards Pasty and Steak and Mushroom Pasty, with a shared order of the crab cakes!
We were coming back from the ocean, and those were some of the best crab cakes I had the entire trip!
The Pastys were amazing also, better than I’ve had anywhere else!
The lemonade was also amazing, the perfect amount of sweetness!
Prices were also super reasonable, some of the best I’ve seen anywhere in a long time!
Highly recommend to anybody coming into town or looking to try somewhere new!!

I really liked this place. Very unique. Not a lot of variety in the downtown Charleston area, so I really appreciate being able to experience something like an Irish Pub. The music really added to the atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. I was surprised that there weren’t more people. There is a cozy atmosphere but a little dark.
Server was friendly and service was prompt.
We shared the deviled egg flight. It was good, especially the smoked salmon egg. Wife thought they needed a sprinkle of salt. I would like to see a little jalapeno diced into the egg yolk on the jalapeno egg rather than just one slice on top.
We got the classic shepherd’s pie pasty with mushroom gravy and the Irish seaside pasty with white gravy. Both were delicious, especially the shepherd’s pie. The thyme and lamb flavors both shine in that one. I didn’t ask but I suspect the mushrooms in the mushroom gravy are marinated in Guinness becausei got a hint of beer flavor there. I’ve heard that the pies aren’t made in house. I don’t know if that’s true but, if it is, I didn’t care. They were great and a frozen pasty at the international market is nearly the same price and not as good.
Even though we were full, the desserts intrigued us so, after flipping a coin, we got the chocolate cake with Irish whipped cream. The cake was dense and moist with a deep chocolate flavor. We liked the fact that it wasn’t overly sweet like cake can be. Again, I didn’t ask but I suspect there’s Guinness in the cake as well.
Overall, a little pricy for the portions but the food was really good and the service friendly. We’ll be back for sure.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smiling face and kindness. The couple who were working the front talked with us as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We tried an array of their personally developed Valentine’s Day cocktails, the flight of deviled eggs, and beef and mushrooms pasties, and the vegetarian shepherds pie. Very impressed the food, the team, and the ambience. We will go again!

Fantastic food and variety. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The liquor drinks weren’t cheap but they were strong and tasty and the beer was good. Overall, another awesome locally-owned (from what I overheard a waitress say) business!

This is a great addition to the downtown Charleston scene. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Everyone that works here is friendly and the chef is legitimately passionate about the food he is putting on the plates.

Was in town for the weekend and was excited to see an Irish pub. The food was delicious and the service was good too. The potato rolls with butter were phenomenal; I even ordered some to go. It was only our server’s second day, but they were attentive and helpful. The biggest drawback is the decor was lacking for an Irish pub (I’ve been to them in Ireland where they’re just pubs). A good open mic night or live band on weekends could really cement this place. Regardless, I’d go back for the rolls alone.

We had the Shepherds Pie Pasty, and you can tell it was make from scratch! Super crisp and tasty, and the beef and onion gravy was great! This reminded me of hand-held pasties I had in Scotland! The staff was very polite. Great place!
