We spend a night cross street hotel then we were looking for a breakfast place. When we saw sturbucks sign we said “yess!!”. When we come in it was right decission. Nice people nice area. Food in starbuck standart. The store workers very nice they fast.

Atmosphere is good, what you would expect from Starbucks. Food is the same. It may be packaged but it’s at least consistent and tasty. The service here left a bit to be desired. The young ladies working here were pleasant enough, at least to the female customers, but I stood for about 7 minutes at the register before they even came over. One of them came over and said someone else would come over. A couple minutes later, a young lady came over and I ordered my drink and food. She came across a bit condescing when I said I was going to put cream in my coffee and explained they wouldn’t do that And I would have to do it myself. I said “right” and just stared at her. She stood there and I had to repeat I was going to put cream in my coffee so you need to leave room unless you want a bunch of coffee in the garbage. It was a bit frustrating and unfriendly. Go to Dunkin down the street. They are at least prompt and friendly.

I have to say, this Starbucks has gone through the absolute ringer when It comes to service. I have been going to this specific Starbucks in Okemos for years now and I have never seen it in such worse shape. The drink quality has immensely gone down and the service and overall atmosphere is something to talk about for sure. A couple days ago I went to go get a drink at this Starbucks (for the last time) and saw the manager or what I assumed to be, screaming and being absolutely atrocious to their baristas. The baristas apparently did something wrong (which I don’t blame them because it seems like a very stressful job) and the manager came screaming like she owned the place and was like, “YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG….THIS NOT NOOOOOTTTTTT HOW WE MAKE DRINKS”. I was honestly just sitting there gagged on how I saw people being treated, I couldn’t believe this was happening it was like something out of undercover boss. These poor baristas!!! This women was at the register while I watched this all happen and she was whispering to her daughter that this behavior was unacceptable and all of us sitting there were just awkwardly staring at each other like what the hell is going on. It honestly disrupted the mood of the place when people are just trying to study and do work. The drinks that day and for the most part have gone down and I really do believe it’s because of the screaming people have to hear. Anyways sorry for my rant but please everyone try and be kinder .

This has to be the worst Starbucks in the state of Michigan. I’ve ordered with the mobile app multiple times were I’m 20 mins before reaching the store and still have to wait for the drink. If you want to get maybe semi fast service try the drive thru, as that seems to be top priority.

I use the drive-thru at this location. This is such a CARING and KIND STAFF!!! My orders are complicated as I order low carb versions of poplar drinks. They do a GREAT job listening to my order, and doing it right. So friendly, they always put a smile on my face.

I went in for a water and a cake pop, the store was busy with college kids, interviews going on for different companies, and families getting together. As soon as I walked in, the energy was tense and I soon realized why. The manager was screaming on top of their lungs at their employees, something about milk and coffee. The entire cafe was hearing the conversation. The manager began belittling them and continuing to say the same thing over and over and over to them, as if they didn’t hear them the first time. The employees apologized for their behavior, and the manager overhead and said “they can tell corporate I’m mad, I really could care less because I AM MAD.” Safe to say I won’t be visiting this cafe anymore, and I hope the employees on duty find a different job.

My son was having an absolute meltdown when we stopped on our roadtrip. The barista who made our coffee saw he had Bluey on his shirt and drew and Bluey on one of our cups for him. We didn’t get to thank her but just know you made our day. 10/10 service.

I just went through the Drive-through And I was served by Nat. She is incredible at her job and goes above and beyond taking orders and serving with an amazing attitude and a bubbly personality. It is rare to find someone who puts so much enthusiasm into their job especially a drive thru.
She was extremely warm and welcoming to every single car that she took orders for.
