First place I’ve found in years that has quality Chinese food like back home, this one blows all the other ones out of the park, I’ve eating here a couple times now and I’ve always enjoyed it. Food is always fresh and the general tsos actually has a bit of spice like it’s suppose to! Not only is the food great so is the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the people there are very nice as well. New favorite spot!

I have been going to New China for years. They are constantly my recommendation and I always get the same few things: wonton soup, pork fried rice, and chicken lomein. Recently, they made a lot of internal changes. One day, I went in to pick up my usual and was like… “woah it looks great”. Strongly recommend. Staff is always friendly and the food is always great!

New China restaurant is a hidden gem in West Deptford! This family owned Chinese food restaurant offers fresh, great tasting food. I have ordered the shrimp egg foo young every week since November 2024 and it is consistently a treat every time. Jing and the Zheng family provide great, friendly, fast service, and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Try the fresh almond cookies!

Wow! I have been to multiple chinese restaurants but this one is by far my favorite. The dishes are delicious and the customer service is impeccable!! I am so thankful that I stopped by here while visiting family. Next time I come to West Deptford I will definitely be coming again!!!

HOWEVER, the last two times I ordered the fried crab sticks (about two weeks apart), there was PLASTIC between the imitation crab meat and the breading. They breaded and deep fried plastic. And I bit into it.
Lost my appetite. Wouldn’t recommend buying the crab sticks.

Disappointed. Never tried here before, found them online. Called to place an order and the woman was very short and hurried, which would be fine (I understand if you are busy) but it caused her to put the wrong address down. I waited more than an hour then called back, and she shouted at me for my address. I gave it again. It got here ten minutes later than they said, and the food is not good. Sesame sauce tastes sour. Meat is rubbery.
I might not care about all of this if the food was solid, but I’m just disappointed now. Lots of waiting. I don’t know why they didn’t call me when they realized they didn’t have the correct address, and why they waited for me to call them back after over an hour. I’m hoping I caught them on a bad night but I wont be trying again

Me and my family have been coming here for years. It’s right down the street from me which makes it easy to get to.
Prices are reasonable and the food is good. It’s Chinese takeout so don’t expect gormet, but even then it’s still really good.
My favorite is the General Tsos chicken. Lots of extra sauce with the perfect amount of sweet and spicy.
The employees have always been friendly whenever I call in or go into the restaurant.
