We have been getting the Grandma Pie pizza almost once a week from the Huntersville location. However, the cook of the pizza has become very inconsistent. Yesterday was awful. The pizza was undercooked and the sauce was watery. The crust was so soggy we couldn’t pick it up. I took a few pics, but you can’t really see the wetness as well as I had hoped.

One star is too much credit. Poor quality ingredients and below standard food. Their only priority is selling food. Please do not waste your hard earned money for over priced terrible food. Spent nearly $30 on one undercooked pizza, could not eat it and they would not make it right, even with me offering to bring the food back nearly untouched. Management was beyond rude and told me it was my fault I didn’t order it cooked more. Wouldn’t patronize this business if it was the last on earth. Very disappointing, Never again.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how impressed I was with my delivery order tonight. I hadn’t ordered in quite some time — about a year — and I was so happy to see how wonderful everything was. The food arrived hot, securely packaged, and beautifully presented. Everything was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, well-balanced, and not overly salty.
I especially appreciated the attention to detail — even the cannoli filling was placed at the bottom of the package to keep the cannolis secure and prevent them from rolling around. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into your food and service.
Please pass along my compliments to the kitchen and delivery team — you’ve truly created a great experience!

Picked up lunch here the other day we got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a Lasagna.The fettuccine had tons of food and chicken and was very good.Not really a fan of the lasagna but it was okay. The fettuccine was a heaping portion. Excellent amount of food for the money. Had enough sauce and I was shocked How much chicken it had. Will definitely be back again! highly recommended.

Friend of mine who loves pizza recommended – and he was right! If you want pizza that you can taste individual ingredients, this is the place. Most places down here you close your eyes and you could be eating anything. This place doesn’t use the sausage crumbles – sliced sausage. This is the second review I’ve done in my life.

Place was very clean and they have a lot of cool movie posters up on the walls. Has a nice, relaxing pizzeria environment to it which I love. I got the 14” pizza which was the perfect size for one person. A little greasy, but it was still very good. Soda fountain machine was working fine and was stocked with all the syrups and such.

I ordered New York style hand tossed sausage pizza. The crust was thin and soft in the middle, as NY style should be. Crust had an excellent taste, cheese was plenty and tasty. I would prefer a spicier sausage, but that’s just preference.

I’ve been coming here for over 6 years since I moved to the area. It used to be great, now every time I order from Mama’s Pizza, there is always something disappointing about the food and/or experience.
Today, I paid $5.25 (+tax) for a slice of Rainbow Cake in addition to our to-go pizza.
I was shocked when I opened the bag to see the slice was about the size of the palm of my hand.
It was also barely an inch thick. Not much cake there. It’s false advertising to call it a “slice”, and should be labeled as a “sliver” on the menu.
(By the way- the picture was before anything was eaten, even the presentation is bad)
The pricing for this portion is ABSURD.
It used to be 3 TIMES the size of what I was sold tonight.
In the last year alone, their quality has been less than desirable and their portion sizes continue to decrease. Yet the price stays the same or increases.
Not to mention, the pizza was burnt and charred underneath. The cheese was overcooked and you don’t get that delicious and satisfying “cheese pull” anymore like you used to get here.
I will not be coming back anymore, we will find a new pizza place to frequent.
It’s just a shame because Mama’s used to be great! But now the portions are a ripoff, and the quality of food has gone down.
