The service is very good, the food even better but I think the best thing was the atmosphere. The room is arranged to minimize noise and the dual fireplaces added a level of warmth yet sophistication. The barramundi was one of the best prepared fishes I have had. The selections of wine is exceptional.

We had a reservation. Upon arrival there was no parking. We were told to park across a pitch dark street in the office building lot that was also full. When we arrived the hostess was barely polite. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told our table wouldn’t be ready until our reservation time. We were directed to the bar and told we could bring our drinks to the lobby. The bar was 2 deep shoulder to shoulder, with no service people in sight.

When we were finally seated in the upstairs dining room we saw a room half empty. We did not see more than 4 people, in total, leave all the dining rooms while we waited in the lobby area.

After being seated we waited almost 5 minutes to be greeted, given menus, and asked if we wanted water or drinks. Our drinks took over 15 minutes. Our orders were for salad dishes and a cold main course. Service was so slow. Waited almost 15 minutes for service between courses. They got a salad order wrong and when the corrected order came it was again wrong, three ingredients and one was missing.

Near the end of our dinner wait staff began putting tables together right behind us, even when there was half a room vacant. A party of 6 right behind us. While the room was quiet before this party was seated the noise level naturally increased. They actually were waited on and had hot food served faster than our salad orders.

We were disappointed to say the least. Limited menu, slow service, poor wine by the glass selection, just not worth the experience. Almost any diner is a better experience.

Good menu, food quality was excellent. Nice 50% off a bottle of wine deal on Friday’s. Sommelier was very helpful, knowledgeable, with pairing choices. Good atmosphere, and not noisy to interrupt conversation. Service was prompt and friendly.

I had the halibut and my husband had the Kansas City steak. The halibut had mussels with them. I thought it made the dish too fishy tasting. The steak on the other hand was delicious. The service was very good. That said, later that evening I got so thirsty I drank 3 glasses of water back to back. My husband had a similar experience. I also felt flush like I was getting the flu or something. I don’t know if they cooked with too much salt or what, but I have never experienced this after a meal before. Spent over $200 to feel unwell. Not sure we will be back, sorry to say.

The staff was very friendly and efficient, helping each other out, making sure we were well cared for. Food was creative and very tastefully done with rich blends of flavors. The wine list covers the full pallet, both educated and conservative. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable with that wine cellar feel. I look forward to coming back!

An event of tastes awaits at this singularly spellbinding stop just off 287. A meat-forward menu should entice all those seeking fine filets, but the kind servers and inventive chefs can whip up a vegetarian entree upon request. Cocktails are sublime and the wine list goes on for ages. Vegetable sides are cooked smooth for sharing, and the fresh bread fills the creases while you wait. This is elegant dining for the county’s cream of the crop.

Enjoy a slice of life from Bedminster too, with loud voices cackling about news and life from senior perspectives, mixed with families celebrating a child’s milestone next to a table of casual diners opting for the best a Friday can offer.

Plenty of parking and outdoor spaces abound for dining and events.

Went to enjoy cocktails and was met at the bar with curt rudeness from the bartender. While the stools at the bar were full the entire room of low two seat cocktail tables was available. She told us as there were no seats at the bar we would have to go to the lobby. When we asked about the dozen empty tables she was again rough in her telling us to go to the lobby, as if she was trying to embarrass us. When we approached the host stand we were offered two tables in a window that rival a hospital waiting room for coziness. Most disappointing. Between the staff, service and lack of hospitality I am encouraged to tell people to stay away from this establishment and I will.

Went there for dinner. Nice upper class atmosphere, good service and tasty food. $130 for 2 ppl with tip included. No drinks, just water, 2 main dishes, 1 app and 1 side. Decent with expected pricey choices.

Unique menu, outstanding food. The textures and flavors were astronomically delicious. Especially impressed with the asparagus and green pea salad and the black bass entree. I’m not into sweets but the dessert truffles were also incredible. You won’t have a bad meal here.

The reception service can improve.

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants in the area. Great food and incredible winelist can be expected typically. Over the last few years, I feel like the reception service has been getting worse.

My family of 5 arrived on time for our pre-holiday dinner reservation. The hostess took us to our table right next to the fire place, but it was a little busy since it was right next to the kitchen entrance. My wife asked her politely if we can be moved to the next table which is exactly the same size and empty. The request was declined, she said “that table is already reserved.” I thougt, ‘since when can I reserve a specific table here?’ Or, was it that she didn’t want to bother? That table went empty for another 50 minutes and finally a couple came in to take it. Yes, 2 people on a table that can hold 6.

The food was great as usual. The waiter went out of his way. The sommerlier did a great job helping me with navigating the extensive winelist and chill down my champagne. The manager did a great job helping me decide on a bottle of bordeaux.

Everything about that night went as expected except for the hostess. I don’t believe what the hostess said and even if she wasn’t lying, I think she could have been more convincing and graceful. That’s the level of service I would expect when I am spending $1K for a dinner. I will probably hesitate before making a reservation next time.
