If you’re going to the Grand Coulee Dam and are looking for a very good Mexican restaurant, La Presa is a perfect choice. We all enjoyed our meals and the portions are large enough for two to share. Only negative comment we have is that the salsa is a bit on the hot, hot side.

Very friendly service. Food was tasty and visually appealing. I liked the decor. The building was in good shape, and the restrooms were clean. Beer was cold.

I was surprised by the experience. Given it’s in the middle of nowhere my expectations were not that high. But the service was excellent. The atmosphere very nice and much better than would expect from the outside. The food choices fairly typical of mexican restaurants. My burrito was very good. All in all I would do again.

Nice flakey chips with very spicy salsa. Excellent food. Service was outstanding. If your drink got over 1/3 from the top, they were refilling it. Best food and service that I have had outside of Texas.

I have eaten at alot of Mexican establishments over the last 70 years. This place was buy far the best. For the first time we are staying in town for 10 days. Wanted to take a local friend out for dinner. He suggested La Presa. We were not disappointed. Service was excellent. Food was top notch. Salsa actually was “salsa” with a bit of a kick. Place was very clean. Beer was very cool and served with a frosted glass. Highly recommend.

Our lunch meal was excellent from start to finish. They greeted us at the door, and we’re very helpful in menu selection. Yeah atmosphere of the little restaurant is wonderful and the murals painted on the walls add to the experience. We had beef chile rellenos and I’ve never had a better restaurant version. Prices were reasonable as far as restaurants go these days.

This was good, straight ahead Mexican food – just the thing to find after a long day of driving. My wife was really happy with the Mexican Shrimp entree, and I made short work of the steak fajitas. Possibly the best thing about my meal was finding the layer of onions under the meat and peppers in my fajitas – laying against the hot pan, they were perfectly grilled and made a glorious addition to my meal. We did not have margaritas, but the largest one on the menu seemed a bit expensive until I saw one delivered to a nearby table – not sure I’ve ever seen a larger drink served in a restaurant.
