We have been going to this place from past 25 years. Even though we are not regular, this place gives a very good change in taste, compared to all other places around Ledgewood. Service is fast. Atleast when we went there was no crowd, but later it became crowded. But still tables were available. Being vegetarians we love the food here. Veg biryani is super. They sides are also very tasty, but I saw the quantity was gravely reduced, even compared to my last visit 6 months back. It was a little bit short, even fir two I dividual under normal consumption. But will still visit erase of thr quality and taste.

Came here last week with my wife for the first time, very happy to know that there is a great Indian restaurant less than 10 minutes from me.
Food : we ordered chili paneer and vegetable Samosa as an appetizer which were both delicious and filling, the chili paneer was actually spicier than unexpected which I like. We ordered garlic naan, which was some of the better naan that I’ve ever had. We ended up sharing a dish of chicken makhani which had the spot.
Aesthetic: unexpectedly small location, but filled with a lot of tables, it’s a nice, quiet dining experience.
Service : our service was fantastic, although I don’t remember the name of the gym that helped us. It was a good time.

Great Indian Restaurant!
The food was delicious and the staff were really nice and friendly. I always see this restaurant but never got the chance to try it and I was missing, the chicken Makhani was delicious as well as the naan bread with fig, and the pistacho dessert. The food was fresh and the restaurant was clean. The service was great too, the two guys who helped us were above and beyond to make sure they could accommodate to my food request and when my boyfriend ask about the filling of his naan, they brought a new one to make sure he was happy! This wasn’t necessary but talks highly of their customer service.
I would like to recommend this restaurant!

I recently ordered take and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. The food was just okay, but the portion sizes were surprisingly small, especially considering how expensive everything was. I also wish I had known beforehand that it’s a cash-only restaurant, which was a bit of an inconvenience.
I was particularly disappointed with the Peshwari naan. It was dry, and the raisins and coconut tasted off, which was quite a letdown since I was really looking forward to it.
Overall, I left feeling that the meal wasn’t worth the price. With so many great Indian restaurants out there, I’m not sure I’ll be returning to The Clay Oven anytime soon.

A nice indian restaurant which is located very close to the bj. We came for the Thali and they were great. Taste wise and portion wise it was really good. It had just enough to fill your stomach.
We enjoyed the food and also had masala Chai which was good too.

I’ve been coming to The Oven Clay since 2018, and it’s hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. The food is always amazing—fresh, authentic, and super tasty. Every single time I’ve been, it’s been delicious.
The owner is so nice, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. It’s just a great vibe all around.
If you’re wondering what to try, definitely get the kheema samosa—it’s my favorite! The Chicken Makhani and Lamb Korma are also fantastic, their Garlic Naam is also so so good. Honestly, anything you order here is going to be good.

Excellent Indian food…we had bunch of things…mango lassi, chole bhatura, paneer, samosa, biryani, dal, kulfi, mali kofta, variety of breads etc over two meals…food and staff are very welcoming. Its a must visit for any1 in the area and definitely for tourist.

We came for the lunch Thali and they were great. You have veg and non veg thali available which range from $12 -$15. The food was freshly made and tasted good. It was like home made food with less spices. Will come here again while visiting bjs.
