If you have seen other reviews that I have done, then you know that we love to find new and interesting places to visit and eat. So this place popped up on my Facebook feed, and I started looking into it. Found that all of the reviews were positive, so I figured just as well go see it. It is that old time look and feel, I and taking the turn off the century the 1900 century feel and look to it. The food was very good, except that the chef did not make the burger the way the menu listed the. One was missing the mayo and mustard and the other one the mayo, but they were listed on the menu. But other than that, the food was very good. They have hand cut fresh fries and home made chips, both were very good, the chips were just a bit over fried, but still good. So if a new interesting place is what you are looking for check them out.

Ringside Cafè is not eat I expected, it was much better! It’s a small hole in the wall old timey bar with incredible burgers. The menu is small but don’t that discourage you. All their burgers are packed with flavor and are very filling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will even tell you spooky encounters they’ve had here. Yes! It’s haunted!! I will come back again and again!

I’m probably going to say this wrong, but this place is the longest operating restaurant in Columbus, established in 1897!
I was frantically looking for a place to eat yesterday evening, not realizing most places close around 7pm. I wandered into Ringside around 7:45pm and they close at 8. The waitress and cook were both great, I ordered, ate, talked with both of them, and left.
I ordered the Smokin’ Joe BBQ Burger with house-made chips. Both were delicious and the burger came with a generous amount of lettuce and tomato. There is also a nice selection of beers available.
The ambiance was what you may expect from a joint having opened in 1897. Beautiful wooden booths and tables, stained glass windows, brass highlights, I could imagine myself taking part in history!

Ringside Café delivered! The Haymaker Jalapeño Burger was juicy, spicy in the best way, and packed with flavor. Chips were crispy and fresh. I enjoyed myself 🙂

First time there and was not let down. I heard about this place yrs ago but had never been there. The burgers are the best. Personal service which started asking if we were going to a show so he knew if we would have time. Only seats about 35 but we’ll worth it. I highly recommend.

Kelsey was awesome! The entire place was packed & she was the only server & she rocked the place solo. As a server myself, I was very impressed. Honestly, I could learn a thing or two from her. Also, this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Great place with a fascinating history on top of that! Highly recommend this place before seeing a show at the Palace or Columbus Theater.

Ringside Café is such an offbeat gem—killer burgers, awesome atmosphere, and hands down one of the best dive bars in Columbus. Come for the food, stay for the vibe. I even found out the owners are from my hometown, which made for some great conversation. Highly recommend—this place is a must.

Great pub grub, decent prices, down to earth service, cool historically significant building with a bit of spooky lore. Also – the fries were scientifically perfect. Couldn’t ask for more! 11/10.

We came here before a musical and the waiter immediately asked us if we were visiting because of a show and when we said yes he asks us what time and that he was going to make sure he got us out with enough time to spare. He did. Not only that, the food was phenomenal. I loved their fries and my wife got the onion rings. We both got burgers, she got the patty melt and I got the jalapeño one, both of them cooked to perfection. If you’re on the fence, go to this place, it’s amazing.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. When they ask how you wanted it cooked , if you say medium then it actually comes out Medium! Most places just cook all burgers the same ! The sides were plenty enough to share . The onion rings were awesome
