First time visiting and tried a few dishes. Appetizer sampler was tasty but wish portions were bigger for the price. The army stew and spicy pork bowls were great, but the tonkatsu ramen broth was not hot and the noodles for the jjajanmyeon was overcooked, as was the rice that came with the army stew.

Our meal was delicious as usual with excellent service!
While visiting from Florida, I came across this wonderful family-run Korean restaurant in Michigan. The food was absolutely amazing — authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The family who runs it is so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I enjoyed it so much I went twice during my trip, and I can’t wait to return in October to try the ramen once the weather cools down!

Seriously speaking, thought, all of the food was delicious, the staff was super kind and accommodating, and the prices are incredibly fair for the quality of food. Definitely worth checking out – we’ll most definitely be back many times in the future!

Finally got a chance to try Hankki and I’m so glad I did!! I decided to try dupbap for the first time and it was so yummy! The bulgogi in it had great flavor, the rice was nice and soft, and I enjoyed having all the other toppings mixed in – I think this will be my go-to when I come back! We also had the gyoza, tteokbokki, LA galbi, pork tonkotsu, miso soup, and miso ramen at my table and literally everything was delicious. I just wish I had taken some pictures lol!
The staff was also very kind, and the restaurant itself was very clean and had a cozy feel. Hankki is close to my sister’s house, so I know I’ll definitely be back!

delicious food! interesting menu options. we ordered the kimchi jjigae, doenjang jjigae, and kids miso ramen with tofu. everything was delicious, fresh, and so flavorful!!

I saw this place a while ago and decided to make a note of it and am so glad I did. Wife and I were looking for someplace new and I remembered this place. Food was absolutely amazing. We got the Korean fried chicken appetizer and were pretty blown away by it. She got the katsumen and I had their tofu misu ramen. We both really recommend what we ordered, and we’re eager to go back to try what we didn’t. The inside isn’t very big and it was quiet which was great cause we could actually hear each other and talk unlike most places.
Highly recommend, and looking forward to our next visit.

We had the best server! She was so kind and attentive, even taught my kids to use chop sticks. She greeted us so promptly and warmly and was able to answer any questions with a smile. Thank you so much! The food was just as awesome as she was!
