Reasonably priced good breakfast. Ate pancakes, sausage and eggs, no issues with any of the food. Service was good. If you are in area and want a simple traditional breakfast eat here.

Typical brunch spot in downtown Chicago. It’s packed with a steady flow of customers coming and going. Although we came on a weekend during brunch hours, we were quickly seated. They have many breakfast and brunch options to choose from. The food is quite oily but there’s endless coffee refills. We enjoyed our time here!

Great, classic diner. Omelette and hash browns done right! Friendly and quick service. So good I went twice during my stay!

Good breakfast fare, no complaints about my food, but I can’t say it was amazing.

The service was friendly enough…when they got to us. The place was busy, but even when there was no one ahead of us and an empty table the perfect size for our party directly in front of us, it took a while for anyone to seem to notice us, and then longer than the situation seemed to warrant for our order to be taken.

So, no problems with the food, and the place is nice, but the whole experience could have been even better with a slightly more attentive staff and a bit more pizzazz in the menu.

This is my favorite spot in Chicago.
I traveled to Chicago for five days and visited many famous places, but this place stood out for its delicious food, friendly local vibes, and reasonable prices. I was so delighted to find this gem and went there twice.
At the first time I ordered vegetarian burrito and the next day I ordered two&two(pancake, egg) and chocolate milkshake.

Stopped at this little Cafe while waiting for a follow up appointment. In Chicago, it’s getting harder to find the small, non-chain restaurants. I was promptly greeted by a smiling and friendly face while being seated. Another friendly face greeted me with a water and menu. My order was promptly taken. I strongly recommend the Ranchero omelet. It is made with a homemade salsa that is awesome. Food was great! Prices were better than expected for being downtown Chicago. Atmosphere was great, even the music was at a pleasant volume as not to make the restaurant loud. Definitely a must try restaurant!

Stopped by here because it was next to our hotel. It was 1030 and not the busiest time of the day on a Saturday. Service was slow. I noticed a cup of coffee was $5 so the longer I sat there the more I wanted to start drinking this expensive drip. I did flag somebody down to get us a cup started ( it is pricey here and I know it’s in the city but for what you get it is more on the expensive side & it’s nothing exquisite). Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, was thin white bread, the other end was the end of the loaf and the bacon was minced into the egg cheese fold. We did have to ask for coffee a few more times. At the end of the day it was $36 for two sandwiches, hashbrowns and 2 cups of coffee. I was hung up on the coffee price that I asked if I could take one to go, but that was an extra charge.

The food was all delicious!!! Service was quick and pleasantly nice. Our order came out quickly and it was cooked to exact perfection. The staff ran amazingly smooth and efficient. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. Very pleased.
We ordered 2 eggs over easy with toast and a 3 egg omelet.

Waitress took 15 minutes to even acknowledge the line of people waiting at the entrance to be seated. Once seated the waitress did not introduce herself or apologize for the long wait. Upon ordering my spouse had a question about the price listed for steak meal. The waitress apologized we were giving the wrong menu’s. So, please ask for a newer menu. (They are the ones with the plastic sleeve.) We also had to ask for a glass of water, which was never refilled. When food arrive it was was warm and correct. Our waters were never refilled. We had to find the waitress to ask for our check.

We ate here for breakfast because it was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. The breakfast food was very tasty: eggs, omelette, hashbrowns. The coffee was excellent! Along with the service! We sat in a booth with a window and had an excellent view. They serve Heinz ketchup.
