This place makes good food with Love! My bro, who is a chef told me about this place. He shared stories and I said I must try this place even though I live two hours away.
The staff is kind, I like that you can call from your table in order your food. It’s really old school. My mother swears by this place even though she doesn’t cuss. You get the drift.

If you are looking for a unique way to experience a pizzeria this is one spot to visit. The orders are taken via a phone at your booth. You simply pick up the phone, place your order and the food and drinks are brought to you. I recommend the baked sandwiches, namely the big sur. Everything else we tried was ok, but if your planning to visit you gotta try the big sur. The sign out front is original and the inside has that 50s kind of feeling complete with Juke box.

I walked in to see an empty restaurant but that’s not uncommon in a Monday night. I saw all the booths and decided to take a seat, that’s when I noticed a phone mounted on the side that said “call for speedy service” I was very intrigued so I quickly perused the menu and saw the cowboy which the description was “same as the royal but everything is doubled” so of course I wanted that. I picked up the phone and connected with the kitchen to place my order. It took about 15 minutes for my pizza to arrive which wasn’t long when waiting for fresh pizza. I then took a bite, it was stellar. Normally not a fan of thin crust but they had about an inch of topping piled on top, the flavor of everything was great! Overall I’ll definitely be back.

We usually get takeout but decided to dine in this time. Had to have waitress wipe down the since all empty tables were dirty and they were not very busy. Coke was flat and iced tea was old, the pizza was not as good as normal toppings were sparse. You could taste sauce and cheese that was about it. The waitress never came back to our table except to drop off bill as she walked by.
