Tried the beef cheek tacos. There was plenty of meat and it was tender and delicious though it needed a little salt.
Definitely coming back for other tacos but know you will not leave this place hungry.
EDIT: Came back at a later date for lamb and carnitas tacos and they did not disappoint.

Birria Tacos are delicious! Large and Very generous meat in them. Consomé is very tasty and if you like quesadillas the length of your arm! This place is top notch!

If you like menudo, this is the place to go. This is not a spicy version so you can add chopped jalapenos as you like. Served during weekends only. The lamb barbacoa is also excellent!
The prices are very reasonable here.

It’s hard finding good Mexican food in Washington. Lengua and cabeza tacos were great. Chicken quesadilla was moist and tasty. Love how this place doesn’t skimp on the meat.
Will be back to try the other meats.

This was a truly excellent taqueria experience. Great food, great portions, great selection, and the aguas frescas were delightful. Also, they were very attentive, despite the fact that this isn’t a full-service restaurant. Highly recommend!
