Me and my wife took a chance with this new spot for our 28th anniversary, and CJ’s did not disappoint! We started with their crab stuffed mushrooms. The flavor on those mushrooms were spot on. The stuffed chicken with a side of raspberry and bacon brussel sprouts and lobster bisque was amazing. The bread is great, and their butter just puts it over the top. If I had anything to criticize, it would be the chicken was slightly overcooked, but not to the point it was inedible. The chocolate cake was a very nice finisher to the meal. Highly recommended!

Truly a hidden gem not talked about enough in Choctaw, OK! The drinks were amazing, the food was 10/10, the service was off the charts. There was 1 waitress (Mindy) bussing 4 tables seated in different areas, and not one time did I feel like she wasn’t around. The prices compared to the food was fantastic, I will definitely be back. I usually take pictures of the food, but it was so good, I didn’t have time. I did get a photo of the drink I ordered. It was the hibiscus cooler and it was so refreshing! Like I said, it was easy my top 10 restaurant.

Surprising to find a great atmosphere and food in the middle of a small town. CJ’s offers a variety of healthy menu items and comfort meals. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese and served with pita chips. The lobster bisque is very flavorful and topped with actual lobster meat. The French onion is not served in a crock (I really prefer this for French onion soup). The flavor was still wonderful, just not served in the classic way with overflowing bubbly cheese. I enjoyed the grilled salmon and it was cooked to a perfect medium. My garlic mashed potatoes were seasoned well and tasty. Husband is a big fan of the chicken parm and orders it every time. The chef pounds the chicken thin so you get an elongated crispy piece of meat. Highly recommend the Caesar salad as it is made fresh table-side. We finished with the vanilla crème brûlée which is served with fresh fruit and whip cream. Service was great and the waitress was very attentive. I would recommend to anyone who lives in the area to try out this restaurant.

I love finding these hidden homegrown and owned gems! We stumbled across this awesome place by accident! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and you could tell by the dialogue of the other customers with the wait staff this is a local hangout. My wife got the Chicken Fried Steak and Brussel Sprouts and I got the Peruvian Half Chicken with Garlic Mashed potatoes. Little did we know that each dish also comes with homemade bread with cherry infused butter and either a wedge salad or hand made (table side I think) caesar salad. We both got the wedge with blue cheese and they did not disappoint! It was such a pleasure to eat a place where SALT is not the key spice! They did a wonderful job of balancing the flavors. The Chicken Fried Steak had good batter and the meat was tender and it was not a mouthful of salt. The brussel’s with the slightly sweet and acid sauce were awesome too! The garlic mashed potatoes were good and the chicken was juicy with crispy skin. The only reason there is not a 5 star all the way through has to do with the chicken. I have had Peruvian Chicken at Peruvian Restaurants in ABQ and DEN. When I read Peruvian, I was assuming it would be peruvian spices like garlic, cumin, parika, and aji panca more so than rosemary. I like rosemary, but it did catch me off guard a little. The Peruvian Green Sauce would be great with the chicken too! The reuse of wood pallets is a nice touch as well. This is a great place to eat! I hope the locals realize what they have here 🙂

I have enjoyed CJs since they opened. Their food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. They serve a variety of foods, and while the menu is not expansive, there are a variety of options to choose from that make for an enjoyable experience. One of their signature dishes is their Steak DiFalco (see attached photos)– a NY Strip steak served over linguini. Great flavor, and the portion size is excellent–easily dinner and lunch the next day, unless you are really hungry! Served to order — mine was medium rare and spot on! Their soups and salads are also generously portioned, and delicious. Dessert options include creme brulee–the Chocolate Espresso creme brulee is amazing.
They also have a variety of wine and adult beverages, available with your meal or at the bar.
Service is great, and if there are any questions or concerns about the food, they are happy to answer and accommodate. While they do not specifically list gluten free (or gluten friendly) dishes, they can accommodate and recommend options for you.

Exceptional food and service! Mahi Mahi with side of sweet potatoes for me, NY strip and mashed potatoes for my husband. Cocktails were excellent and dessert decadent (creme brulee and a sinful chocolate cake). Open for dinner 6 days per week. Didn’t see a kids menu so you may not want to bring the kids (they’d be welcome I’m sure, but this is definitely food for grown ups!). PLEASE NOTE: If you Google the menu or look at older reviews (dated before November 2023) you will probably see the menu and review for the PREVIOUS restaurant WHICH IN NO WAY RESEMBLES WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT CJs! The previous restaurant was NOT of this quality and those older reviews unfortunately may be tagged under C.J.s name, which was NOT the name of the former restaurant.

Wife & I had dinner there today. Customer service is very good from walking in the door until you leave. (Veteran friendly!!!) The remodel is more open and no longer dim and dreary. Little pricey but worth it. Food is very good and you won’t leave hungry. Not reheated freshly made. Plenty on the plate. Wedge salad with the toppings I enjoyed with the steak stir fry. I also picked sweet potato and also mashed potatoes for my sides..Excellent No small shrimp with my wife’s meal. Shrimp De Falco. (Shrimp and pasta.) Bread also comes with table. We stumbled upon CJs tonight while we were looking for somewhere to eat before my husband’s speaking engagement. I had the chicken fried steak with the brussel sprouts. It was probably the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had and the brussel sprouts were amazing! The raspberry sauce was just sweet enough to add a fantastic flavor to the sprouts. The steak was tender and breaded perfectly.
My husband had the ribeye. I’m always nervous to take him to new restaurants because he enjoys a really good steak and really good steaks are hard to find. This was a winner. He truly enjoyed the steak. It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was fantastic.
I had the wedge salad which was very tasty and my husband had the Caesar salad. The young lady who brought the salads out shared the story behind the Caesar salad while she mixed the salad at our table. Fascinating!
The atmosphere was classy without being pretentious and the decor was very cute. We will definitely be back!!
