I live in Waxahachie and drove out to the Lancaster location since they closed for remodeling. It’s tucked away off the highway, but this place is beautifully laid out, spacious, and very clean. The full kitchen is visible from the dining area and that too is very clean. I asked for two brisket sandwiches and the man preparing my food cut away Everything that wasn’t meat. I didn’t feel rushed by the staff in the restaurant, And enjoyed great food for great prices. Worth the drive!

Not a fan! In two days spent $56 and neither day impressed me. The way they advertise online is not what you’re going to get. I won’t even speak on the staff having attitudes. Just look at the photo provided and ask yourself was that alone worth $23? Minus the gallon of lemonade which was the best thing they gave me in two days.

this was the absolute worst barbecue i’ve ever tasted. the most bland meat you could imagine with most being fatty pieces. nothing had any seasoning from the mac and cheese to the mashed potatoes. the only thing that had any
flavor was the canned bushes baked beans. all the soda in the machine was flat, and to top it off, the staff had such an unwelcoming demeanor. as if us coming into their completely empty store was inconvenient to them. so very disappointing don’t waste your time coming here. there’s definitely better barbecue literally anywhere else. spent 40 dollars and the plates didn’t even come with drinks, but it says so on the menu. boo if i could give 0 stars i would.

Place is ok but nothing like the other ones I’ve been too. The staff was not really dressed for the job tbh and they didn’t really greet us the best and help with decisions on options on the menu. And the food was not good tbh at least mine I got a Mac stack and the Mac was cold and the pulled pork was warm and they threw shredded cheese on top and it was cold nothing else on it. So to be honest this place was not it. Unless it was just a bad day or something but was not worth the 130$ for 6 people and the food wasn’t even good cause it was warm.

This location is amazing! We accidentally ordered from Dickie’s in Lancaster for a work lunch, which was over an hour away. They were so kind and fulfilled the order and had the food here early. Thank you so much to Rachel for making it happen!

Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Customer service was good. I gave 4 stars because they were out of a few things on the menu. The sliced brisket was more like chunks of brisket but it was still very good. The chicken was very flavorful and all the meats were tender. We’ll definitely return.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy the food is awesome, nice accommodations like charging station, plug in laptops at the table! Courteous staff and very clean eating area! Photos are during winter weather and not a good representation of how busy the restaurant usually is.

My fiance literally comes here all the time for lunch during the week. Your credit card machine was down and nobody told him before they made the whole order. Then he couldn’t pay so they threw it in the trash. Wasting food should be a crime. What a ridiculous establishment. You all need to train your service workers correctly. At least have a sign up or communicate ahead of time that payment is cash only. Most people don’t even carry cash on them these days.

Ordered my food through DoorDash. The food arrived quickly but the order was incorrect. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and brisket chili. I received a polish sausage sandwich instead.
I couldn’t find any brisket in the chili and it tasted horrible. The sandwich was at least warm so that was a plus. I don’t recommend this place.

Declining restaurant and chain.
Before Covid all the locations around had great food, good prices and kids eat free on Sundays WITH free soft serve ice cream. Now three of the locations around us in cedar hill have shut down, including the cedar hill location, the grand prairie location, the Waxahachie location.
We settled for this location today on a Sunday with our kids and while we didn’t quite have a “bad” experience we it just meh!
The food portions are small. No music playing, no Christmas decor, The constant beep of the smoke detector in the restaurant every 5 minutes was annoying, there was a hair in my sons Mac and cheese, the ice maker was out of ice, there is visible damage to the wall where it looks like a flat screen tv fell out of the drywall from a poor mounting decision, the bread/roll was bland the sausage tasted burnt and dried out.
They offered a free cookie to leave this review, but at this point, I’ll just decline.
I know places are struggling but I think they just don’t care anymore about the guests and are trying to squeeze more money out of their customers.
