This was my first time to get there during breakfast. But they serve full menu all day. The only thing they stated we could not get was baked potatoes.
We arrived and we chose a table. We were greeted promptly and drinks were ordered. My youngest child got the silver dollar pancakes, my oldest child ordered 2 flap jacks and 1 egg, I ordered the first base, my mom ordered the bench warmer, I also added a side of toast, and we ordered beignets.
My kids received coloring pages and the waitress came and brought more colors. The food came out quickly and everything was phenomenal. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp, the pancakes were perfect, the biscuit was soft, the hashbrown could have even done better for me, and the beignets were good. Not Cafe Du Monde good, but they hit the spot. We had entirely too much food but it was wonderful. My only complaint is that the hashbrown could have been burnt more for me, but the waitress told me their grill couldn’t get hot enough to burn them. I still ate a little bit of them.

This was me and my husband’s first time coming to this restaurant, and when I tell you I will definitely be back, believe me. From the minute we walked through the door, we felt so welcome. Everyone greeted us with a warm welcome and genuine smiles. I ordered the western omelette with bacon instead of ham and hot chocolate. My husband ordered the First Base, apple juice and a cup of coffee. Everything was amazing. I was so glad we visited this place after going back and forth between Cracker Barrel, Waffle House and Big Daddy’s. Although I like eating at the other places mentioned, this place was phenomenal and it’s just good to have another option.

We have been going here for years! Love the breakfast, the staff, and the atmosphere. Yesterday I went and picked up 3 plate lunches and I was so disappointed! It pains me to post this. The food was tasteless! It actually reminded me of food that’s been served in a hospital for elderly that has dietary needs! We’ve been up in Oh lately and that’s expected from us, there. Not here in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Please have your cook do better or get another one!

Best burgers in LC. Staff is fantastic. I can’t eat the regular burger, it’s too big. I have to get the smaller one. Sweet potato fries are on point. There is nothing bad about this place. You should check it out.

I waited 30 minutes for my burger, shake and fries. There were 6 other people at two tables. I had to leave before my order was ready. I have no idea if the food was good. I still paid. I left with two chocolate chip cookies.
