Had a lovely breakfast this morning with my bf. We both ordered different skillets and they were delicious! Hot, well seasoned and huge portions. He got a side of corned beef hash that had a great crust on it and I got a side of bacon(asked for crispy) and it was done perfectly. My waitress Jessica was a delight and so friendly! Great pricing for portion sizes. Never have a bad experience here❤️

I gave 3 stars because my Mom enjoyed her Cheeseburger. This is my Julie salad – no turkey, no cucumbers, no green pepper and no egg. What is going on?? This is not right for the price. Very, very disappointing. I haven’t been here in years and thought with new management (it’s not different, same people found that out when I got there), if I had known I wouldn’t have even tried it. If I had ordered and ate there would it have been made correctly or because it was carryout, you just don’t care? I even gave a 25% tip for the owner to walk in back and hand me my order? Never again. Come on Sunrise do better!
Edit: Got a REAL Julian Salad from Round The Clock that was amazing! Nothing missing in it and so good. This will be our go to from now on.

I got the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon and hash browns. Great size portion for the price, Holly was so friendly and gave me my check early on because she saw I was eating so fast “just in case you’re in a rush”. Attentive service and delicious food, drive a little bit off the road and try this one! It’s so good!!

The newly remodeled Sunrise is a wonderful gem we have in Chesterton! Great prices, food is delicious with fantastic portion sizes, owner is always around making sure everyone is taken care of and the service is excellent. I always ask for Holly. This is my fourth time coming here and I will keep coming back! Today I got the special breakfast burrito and pancakes with some constantly topped off coffee. 10/10!!!

The food was served hot, and the older male host was very pleasant.
The eggs Benedict wasn’t too bad. The Belgian waffle was pretty good as well. The fruit, I think, was left out during the morning and wasn’t cold. The crêpes weren’t bad either.
The waitress was probably one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever had. I got the impression she was upset about having to serve us. No refills were offered. We only saw her when we ordered, when she brought our food, and then when she brought the bill. She had a horrible attitude, refused to place anything on our table, and would only hand our drinks and plates to us. She was very short with us.
With a better waitress, I’m sure this place would be better.

Been coming in a lot recently and everything has been great. BUT the “Ray of Sunshine” burger is the best burger I’ve had in years. Great food and great waitresses. Holly always provides amazing service.

While camping at the Dunes, we ventured out and found this little gem! We were quickly greeted and seated with a smile. I ordered the eggs Benedict.. best I’ve had in a very long time! Our coffee (which never went empty) was exceptional. Impressive note; the owner walked around keeping the cups full. You don’t see that these days! Kudos Kudos Kudos! Will definitely be back again. If you’re in the area, stop and give them a try!
