I could not believe a restaurant would allow such low quality to ever leave the store in a city that prides itself on its pizza.
This particular Lou Malnatis falls incredibly incredibly short of what anyone could consider “good”. It’s so far off what the brand usually delivers, and the problem is quite literally isolated to THIS location. I’ve never had issues from any other.
It’s become such a common issue, that when conversing with neighbors in the area, the question of “where should I get pizza tonight” is answered with “Anywhere but Lou’s”. We all think that this location is a joke because none of us have experiences in the past year that were anything but terrible.
Do yourself a favor, get your pizza from ANY OTHER restaurant. Hell, even frozen pizza from the store will bring eons of quality and taste far and above the absolute garbage I had delivered to my party by Lou Malnatis.
Also, for anyone wondering if the delivery was the problem, I live 8 minutes from the front door of this location. There is no excuse for the cold flavorless cardboard they seem so proud of.
this is the second time I have gotten Lous from the Hardwood Heights location. The first time was not the best either. But this time it was horrible. All it takes is one location to ruin it for everyone. Congrats you guys nailed it for #1. I will NEVER go back again.
Definitely, you have to give the margarita pesto pizza a try. As for price, lou Malnati gotten a little pricey. So be prepared to spend at least $50 for a pizza and a salad. And like they say, if you want to add more toppings that’s extra.
