Ordered delivery after a long flight. The pizzas were flavorless with a tough undercooked crust. Incredibly disappointing, especially given that it’s my first time in Chicago. I won’t order from here again.

Ordered Lou Malnati’s pizza from the Harwood Heights location. Order placed at 5:10. It took 3 HOURS to get this pizza and it’s disgusting! Tried to call the restaurant after we’d waited an hour to have our pizza delivered and nobody picked up the phone. It’s cold and the cheese is gross. Never, never, ever will we order here again.

This had to be the worst pizza we have ever had from this place! We ordered our usual The Lou with extra cheese. Where did all the liquid come from? It was so wet and soggy. We had to put it in the oven to dry it and make the crust edible. The cardboard was soaked and stuck to the bottom of the pizza. The flavor had all washed out, it was very bland! This will definitely the last time we order from here.

Paid around 30 dollars for 9 in small deep dish with 2 toppings and buttercrust. Feels a bit steep. Also their drinks suck. More sugar than any of the flavors theyre supposed to have. Pepsi drinks suck so does Dole and Crush. More sugar than flavor.

Ordered 3 pizzas delivered, all 3 arrived colder than heck and tasted like the garbage you’d try to feed in a failing college food court.

I could not believe a restaurant would allow such low quality to ever leave the store in a city that prides itself on its pizza.

This particular Lou Malnatis falls incredibly incredibly short of what anyone could consider “good”. It’s so far off what the brand usually delivers, and the problem is quite literally isolated to THIS location. I’ve never had issues from any other.

It’s become such a common issue, that when conversing with neighbors in the area, the question of “where should I get pizza tonight” is answered with “Anywhere but Lou’s”. We all think that this location is a joke because none of us have experiences in the past year that were anything but terrible.

Do yourself a favor, get your pizza from ANY OTHER restaurant. Hell, even frozen pizza from the store will bring eons of quality and taste far and above the absolute garbage I had delivered to my party by Lou Malnatis.

Also, for anyone wondering if the delivery was the problem, I live 8 minutes from the front door of this location. There is no excuse for the cold flavorless cardboard they seem so proud of.

What a disgrace to one of the best pizzas in Chicago. I ordered the Chicago classic sausage w buttercrust. Look how much grease is on the pizza it soaked through the box. Look how poor and sloppy the sauce and sausage is distributed. What a travesty of a pizza. This pizza was tasteless with the exception of the buttercrust. I could have made a better pizza drunk.

this is the second time I have gotten Lous from the Hardwood Heights location. The first time was not the best either. But this time it was horrible. All it takes is one location to ruin it for everyone. Congrats you guys nailed it for #1. I will NEVER go back again.

You would think by now, Lou’s swanky new owners(4 years now ) would have fixed this location, send them all to training on how to actually make the pizza (like they used to) and get it right. Our last five orders have been abysmal on quality and estimated pick up/delivery times. Yup, shame on us for hoping that our oldest tried and true pizza would finally not suck and get back to getting it right…

Absolutely delicious! I tried the hot honey pizza, and I must admit, I was initially skeptical. But it turned out to be much better than I had expected. I would definitely order it again! So far, Lou Malnati’s is the best Chicago-style pizza I’ve had. As someone recommended, the single-serve pizza has the perfect ratio of toppings and stays crispy with that buttery crust.

We just tried the new Margarita pesto pizza, deep dish. They send A promotional coupon to try it in the app. I would give it five stars. The taste was amazing. I would definitely order that again. We ordered the Lou Malnati salad and how could you go wrong with that salad? Always delicious!
Definitely, you have to give the margarita pesto pizza a try. As for price, lou Malnati gotten a little pricey. So be prepared to spend at least $50 for a pizza and a salad. And like they say, if you want to add more toppings that’s extra.
