The boss burger was fire, temp and taste!! Kids had undercover cheeseburger and also fire taste and heat! To end it all we had Nutella & Oreo milkshakes! Thank you for the amazing experience and fabulous taste on the pallet! If you want unique small business with great burgers, illegal burgers is it! (Forgive the non burger picture it was too late!) also truffle fries were a nice addition to the burger on the side!

Great restaurant with great atmosphere. I love the theme of the restaraunt. I got the birria fries and they were a perfect portion to just have by themselves. They had a good amount of spice and the meat was flavorful. My party had the mushroom Swiss burger and the chicken sandwhich and they enjoyed their meal.

Illegal Burger is an absolute gem! The Bacon BBQ Burger is a must-try — every bite is mouthwatering. We’ve tried other burgers too, and honestly, just thinking about them makes my mouth water. This is my third or fourth stop at this place while traveling along I-70, and it’s always worth the detour (though I wish it were closer to home).
The flavors are so irresistible that I usually share my food, but here? I devour my burger in one go — no sharing, haha! I also appreciated that they made a special patty without onion, salt, or pepper for my furry friend, though $5 was a bit steep for it.
The restaurant has plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating, with a bar setup inside. Great food, great vibe — it’s a 5-star plus spot for me!

Two words Amazing and Messy! When we walked in we were greeted with a joyful voice, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the food was amazing and messy! Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some hamburgers and ready to clean a little mess. 🙂

Great little burger place!! There are several locations, but we chose the Evergreen location. Potentially better with parking than the downtown Denver locations. We got the off the record avocado burger, the illegal cream cheese burger, and The Godfather burger. Everything tasted amazing. I had the cream cheese burger. The peppers were spicy and well cooked. My only complaint is that it is kind of a dry burger unlike the other two orders. So if you get that burger maybe get something a little more on the juicy side or extra sauce on the side. The green chili fries were very good! I would say that the side of fries is enough for two people! Great little spot! Will absolutely visit again.

Hands down a great burger joint! Pricey people say but paying $10 in Evergreen Co from a dang good burger is a deal to me. Staff were friendly to me. The topping choices were so good! You can choose your buns, and an extra topping. The choices of burgers were plenty but not so many it was overwhelming on what to get. My lucky day was it was Monday which meant .99¢ house margaritas!! I had the Boss but instead of chedder I had cream cheese. So good. I’ll eat there again after a day of hiking it was a perfect refuel meal.

Me and my Fiancée are from O-H-I-O and came to Denver for a vacation and after going up Chief Mountain, we stopped by for a meal. Great burgers, great atmosphere, totally worth the money and the trip and the sights. Will definitely come back here if the opportunity arises again in the future. Wish I took photos. Thanks y’all
