A literal, local mom & pop Chinese take-out. She works the phones, he does the cooking. No Asian Fusion, no elevated or deconstructed nonsense. The Chinese food items you’ve come to love, prepared well, with fresh ingredients by your neighbors. I’ve been eating here for years and years, and it’s always good.

Generous servings, great food. The style differs slightly depending on who is cooking. Always friendly. They handle substitutions well, e.g., “no mushrooms” or “cook well”. Been going there for years, no problems. Some items I will go elsewhere for items due to “provincial” differences.

In Thornwood. Fast food Chinese. Food isn’t all that good. If you want take out this is the only place in the area. Help is very nice. The combination plates have a lot of food and it comes with soup or egg roll and fried rice. Prices are reasonable. Always order the same thing of chicken and broccoli and boneless spare ribs combos. These are good but not great. Fast service and parking is right out front.

DO THESE PEOPLE CARE WHAT THEY PUT IN YOUR FOOD and for that matter what they don’t put in your food! I WOULDN’T TRUST THEM AND I WOULDN’T GO BACK HERE EVER. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS and leave take out food and restaurants to the ones owned and managed by honest, reputable people!
I ordered something simple like chicken rice soup. They didn’t put the chicken in the soup – just rice. I came back and insisted on the chicken. They actually wanted to throw the
COLD RAW CHICKEN IN A BAG! Why on earth would anyone want to go to a place where they know there is a possibility THEY COULD GET SICK FROM THE FOOD, much less getting ripped off!

I put in an order they got the order wrong when I called back they did nothing but told me that I made the mistake and did nothing about it. Now I come home from work I buy my food & I go home. I sit down to eat and the order is wrong. I called them back and they don’t care, The woman that answered told me that I was wrong and didn’t do anything about it and did not care to hear what I had to say. She was rude and arrogant The worst part of all is I open up the food and there is something in there that isn’t all food I couldn’t quite tell what it was at first, Then I saw the head of a cockroach……….
The food tasted pretty good in spite of the service not being great until I saw what I saw, so after I finished being sick and threw my food in the garbage I decided that there are several other clean and nice places in my area so I will be going there .
Good luck when you go there I will never go back.

This is a family run Chinese food spot. It has always been consistent with food. The husband cooks and the wife take all orders and $ , and son delivers. God bless them, running a restaurant isn’t easy and they are always working.
If you are a regular and friendly THE Whole family returns it! The food is the best around and reasonably priced.
Love the Singapore noodles and Crab Rangoons. Chicken and Broccoli is perfect! I live locally and this place beats ONs in Pleasantville.

Food is good. Whoever takes the orders over the phone is incredibly nasty and rude. I don’t know. Howcyou can just hang up on customers like that. The food is not good enough to order again from with that attitude
