4.1/10 Super Burrito Carne Asada

Paid $16 for the burrito. I guess the size of it was pretty decent, but nothing in the burrito tasted fresh. The thing I could taste the most on the inside was the guacamole. On top of that I think they use a taco mix on the meat to try to make it more flavorful since the meat is that bad. It made the meat SUUUPER salty as they tried to mask their laziness of cooking.

The meat was dry and chewy and was for sure made the night before and then just heated. The burrito came out in like 2 minutes there’s no way they cooked anything fresh

For $16 and cant make anything fresh? This place seems pretty popular but it has to be full of people with no standards for good mexican food. I had to use salsa to save the burrito and even then the salsa was below average

Dont think I’ll be back. I’d rather drive somewhere else on El Camino and go out of my way to eat somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend

Decent beer selection on tap. Not a lot of choices, but good choices none the less.

Fish tacos were pretty big. Got 2 but would’ve been content with one.
Flour tortillas, not corn.

Cash only when busy!

If it’s empty, they can do credit card. But it’s a crappy card reader and very slow, so they only take cash if there’s more than one or two customers in the place. I think there is an ATM, though.

Super fresh vegetables on each taco. Fried fish tacos were broke da mouth. Didn’t get to try the carnitas taco. Menehune got mine.

Nice staff, great food, and reasonable prices for their portions. Music level and selection is nice and allows for conversation. Given the large portion size we opted to split it. They were kind enough to split it for us and wrap them individually…a very nice touch.

My only criticism is the payment by cash only, no credit cards accepted.

For $16 in current times the burrito I had was a good value. Very big (enough for a second meal for me) and good quality. I loved the grilling of the shell to make it crispy. That said, having mayonnaise or some kind of creamy sauce on my fish burrito destroyed it for me.

Excellent. Fish ceviche was very good. I also had the Sancho’s hot sauce prawn platter. Properly hit! Volume was more than satisfying.

One of the best places for fish tacos in the Bay area. I visited Sancho’s with a friend two years ago and was an instant fan of their fish tacos. Please keep in mind that this place is cash only.

This is always one of my first stops whenever I come home. I will always find myself craving those fish tacos.
The vibe inside isn’t bad, there is a great little salsa bar, and you have the option to buy a beer. I personally like to eat there right when the food comes out when it’s at its best, but this is also a great option to take home and eat later.
