Everything from start for finish was delicious at Cenacolo. Our server, Alex went above and beyond to make our meal special. They’re known for their lasagna and it lived up to the hype, but all their pastas and carpaccios are delicious.
We have been coming to Cenacolo for years and will always come back. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for an amazing Italian meal in Cancun.

This is our new favorite restaurant in Cancun. It is right in the waterfront in La Isla which is just across the street from our resort. We went there twice on this trip. Just can’t get enough. The food is excellent with the pasta being incredible while the service is definitely very high end. Among the wait staff, Juan Carlos was the best. He got everything perfect. The other one made good effort but got a few things mixed up. Hope he will continue to improve. The restaurant is also perfect for watching the sunset. Make sure to reserve the tables in the front.

I cannot say enough how wonderful our meal was. Alex was our server and was attentive and personable. Really made our meal. The drinks were beautiful and tasty. The pasta was homemade and you could really tell. It was fresh and light. The lasagna was the best I’ve ever had. We had the ragu as well that was great. Best Italian I’ve had in a while. Beautiful interior as well. Truly entertaining meal. We will definitely be back

I have been here three days in a row just to get the chocolate soufflé. It is the best dessert I have ever had. The way that it is prepared and served is phenomenal. It is this warm gooey chocolate with the best crème anglaise! One of the days I paired it with vanilla ice cream and that was phenomenal. Counting down the days until I am back in Cancun so I can indulge on this treat.

Food was adequate. We had no complaints until we consistently overheard what looked like the manager talking to an Italian couple beside us about “cina” this and “cina” that. Besides the anti-Asian remarks, we ordered the tripa but weren’t told it was unavailable until after we were done with our entrees. The best part was the bar’s refusal to make my carajillo despite ordering it with our dessert course over 20-30 minutes before close. The remarks about the chino staying still lingering in Spanish didn’t help either. I paid my tab and tipped 20% on my $250+ USD tab while waiting for said carajillo. Overall, I’m disappointed yet not surprised. If you’re going to be a bigot, do so in private and around folks you know for sure don’t understand Romance languages.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Very well located at the lagoon water front. Pasta made on premise. 3 of us ate in the evening, drinks and various pasta dishes. We all enjoyed the drinks and pasta dishes. Our waiters Santiago + were very knowledgeable and professional. Will return.
