Only giving this place a 2 stars because the server was very attentive and had a good attitude.
The atmosphere is ok, we went on a Friday which was “Karaoke” night, the music was EXTREMELY loud. We asked if they could lower the volume just a bit since not even the waitress could hear us when we were trying to order our food. Then we found ourselves screaming the whole night because we couldn’t even have a conversation with the other couple we went. The night was ok, but there was no need for a place SO small to have the music at the extreme level.
The food was quite a disappointment, I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which any Mexican restaurant would have as the simplest dish. Well, they got it all wrong (see pictures) first, they came out with half a shrimp per slice of quesadilla. I was speechless. I told the waitress, which was also speechless when I showed her the plate. She then brought it back, the decided to not even heat up the quesadilla again, there was no “melting cheese” and the tortilla was soggy and cold. It was very upsetting.
Then, the check came, we were four adults sitting with only four plates and some chips and guacamole. They decided to charge us automatically a “large party fee of 20%”, that just ended the night for us on the worse note. I do not recommend this place, there is no need to provide such poor service in quality of food and over charge people for fees that do not even make sense.

Weekend Concierge
Great deal on beef, chicken and pork tacos at $2.99 each on Tuesdays. 2 for 1 beer was a great deal at $2.99 if you don’t mind flat beer and limited selection (corona, modelo or Heineken) Fish tacos had a $1.50 uncharge and contained the equivalent of popcorn chicken but with tiny pieces of breaded fish. Salsa selection served on the side was excellent but would be better if it were served with a few tortilla chips as is customary at many other Mexican restaurants. If you don’t speak Spanish, communication might be an issue with one of the two servers. With only a classic Margarita and 3 draft beers on the Happy Hour menu,, this would not be reason enough to drive the extra miles.

I was surprised by a cozy, beautiful restaurant with vibrant colors and top-notch service! I’m not a fan of Mexican food, but my whole family loves it, so when we found a place where the experience alone is worth it, I was so grateful! The best part was that the food was truly delicious and super fresh! We all left happy and already planning to return next Friday for karaoke with live music! I highly recommend it!

Excellent experience at Guacatacos. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The tacos were outstanding, especially the balance of seasoning and toppings, and the guacamole tasted freshly prepared. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a place worth coming back to. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic and delicious tacos.

I went to Guajacatacos and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was Karaoke Friday ¡Canta y Encanta con Juanda!, so we sang a lot and had so much fun. Juanda, the karaoke host, was amazing.
We had a wonderful time overall. Sammy also took great care of us; he was very kind and gave us excellent recommendations on the menu. Highly recommend this place for great food, fun vibes, and outstanding service!

We went on a Thursday night for my birthday, very fun place, they sing out a hat on me and sign like mariachi for the birthday song ❤️ loved it
For the food, we ordered:
Fajitas for 1 and fajitas for 2: veryyyy generous amount of food, my husband ordered the one for 1 and was able to take home leftovers for the other day. Same with the one for two, I would say you can either take home some or eat 3, the only thing is that you would have to ask for more tortillas. 5/5
Birria tacos: comes with 4, very generous amount, also comes with the consome so you can dip it, so good 5/5
GuacaTacos tacos: comes with 3, we ordered to pastor and one carnitas on soft taco, they were good too. 4/5
Chimichanga: sooo crunchy, very nice, also good portion for one person, my abuela took some home too!
Margaritas: they were normal honestly, simple ones nothing out of the ordinary.
The service was good, the server was so nice and explaining everything, only thing was a little delayed on bringing the food out, the plates were ready sitting there for a while, I had to ask to get one warm again, because the ladies were just on their phone, while the guy was doing drinks and serving other people.
Either than that, everything else was very good.
Also for the prices if you are drinking it gets a little price, we pay like $40 per person only one drink each.

Waitress was nice and pretty attentive in between personal phone calls, lol.
The birria tacos came as a recommendation from waitress. Initially was going to order other type of tacos but she recommended those instead. Hmm, ok. I feel like this may been to increase bill vs. an “upgrade” from tacos I was originally going with. For anyone who has had great birria/birria tacos, these were NOT it. They were “OK” but certainly not worth $21.95. Even the side consumé lacked any flavor.
Overall, chips & salsa, birria tacos and bottle of Coke with tip $40. Single diner…way too much for what it’s worth.

First, this was some of the best food we’ve had in a while. We travel with my husband’s job and have been in North Carolina where there’s no flavor in the food. But THIS! WOW!
Not just the chips and salsa but we each had birria tacos and there was SO MUCH flavor! Just amazing!

The bill was a little shocking but I don’t know if there is free refills or not because I didn’t get a chance to look at the check before my husband paid
